The objects of the Charity is "to promote the relief of the aged in any manner which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable, within Whitchurch and the surrounding area". The charity holds twice weekly day centre's where the elderly and socially isolated residents meet to chat, play games and enjoy a meal.

We are a volunteer group working alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service to provide emergency response and care in the Broseley, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock areas of Shropshire.

Award of grants and bursaries to students from Shropshire and contiguous counties undertaking horticultural training at RHS Gardens or other RHS approved training courses.

PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Maintaining and letting Kemberton village hall for the benefit of the community

Private hire for wedding receptions, special birthday parties and anniversaries, christening teas, own village hall functions etc.

Offer help and support to stroke survivors, their carers and family. Activities include weekly exercise session and mutual support. Aim to enable survivors to lead as normal life as possible by organising regular outings. Meals, gliding, sports day are a few of the activities we offer. We also provide information to improve the treatment of strokes and the subsequent rehabilitation.

Fund raising for extra facilities for the pupils of Trinity CE School, Ford.

The charity provides minibus transport, complete with drivers, at low cost, along with their replacement, insurance, maintenance etc. 1) To Age Concern Shrops, Telford & Wrekin for their eight day centres in Shrewsbury. 2) To a large number of elderly groups, eg, church groups, MU, WI, stroke club, Shropshire Mind etc etc.

The Ironbridge Coracle Trust is the owner of the last coracle makers' shed on the River Severn, in Ironbridge. The Trust works to further the heritage of coracles and coracle building in Ironbridge. The Trust organises the annual Ironbridge Coracle regatta.The trust is voluntary, and runs monthly work parties to keep the shed in good condition. see www.coracleshed.org for more information.

Maintenance, improvement and provision of recreational facilities for the benefit and enjoyment of the public.

Providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and drive, to benefit their health and well being, in Ludlow and the surrounding area.

To operate and maintain the village hall for the benefit of the people of Habberley and district.

We have speakers/demonstrators on a variety of subjects and social time when we meet with other people.

Morville Village Hall is a self governing charity that administers and maintains a very well used local community room in our small rural parish. We hire out the hall to a wide range of regular and casual users for both communal and private functions.

To advance the Education of the Public about the Railway Heritage of Shrewsbury and its Region through Lectures, Publications and other means.

Making grants to individuals who have suffered injury or sickness as a result of their participation in the sport of Rugby Union within the area of benefit and the relief of those same persons and their dependants in necessitous circumstances.

We provide Chinese Culture workshops and language courses to school and people who are from different age groups and culture backgrounds.We also support local events and cohesion between different communities.
