Our charity wishes to continue a wide remit as possible as indicated in A14 - It does not wish to offer a closer definition which may result in a restriction. Being a charity associated with a Rotary Club there is encouragement from Rotary International to consider particular projects/causes which the Rotary International president wishes to support in his/her presidential year.

FUNDS HAVE BEEN RAISED FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE CASTLE AND ITS SURROUNDING EARTHWORKS. PURCHASE WAS COMPLETED ON 15.09.2008 AND WORK HAS BEGUN TO REPAIR THE MONUMENT SO AS TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. THIS HAS BEEN POSSIBLE LARGELY AS A CONSEQUENCE OF GRANTS FROM HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND AND ENGLISH HERITAGE, PLUS SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL. COMPLETION OF WORKS WAS SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 2011.

Mid Wales Advanced Motorists covers the Mid Wales area designated by postcode regions SY10; SY15 to SY25 and LD1 to LD8. The group objective is to offer guidance and encouragement to the standard required to obtain Membership of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) by passing their Advanced Driving or Riding Test. We offer guidance for both Car and Motorcycle categories of IAM membership.

the charity is for financial assistance to young people in the Parish of Clungunford (up to the age of 25) with educational activities such as school trips, driving lesson costs, equipment for school and university.

Assists its own members, Donations to other Charitable causes and makes grants to the Shropshire Masonic Charitable Association for distribution according to their regulations.

Riding for the disabled.

We mostly give to charities in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We don't tend to give to individuals.

The South Cheshire Orchestra provides facilities for amateur musicians to gain orchestral experience regardless of age and ability. It aims to educate both the members and the public in the art and benefits of music through the presentation of public concerts, often for charitable causes external to itself.

To fund activities undertaken by ex-pupils of Priory School

Lectures by visiting speakers & members. Field trips. Research on geological sites & building stones. Publish leaflets & books on sites, areas & walks of geological interest. Maintain a website.

Educational trust. We provide funds to young people under 25years of age, to further their education. i.e. money provided for books, computers, programs, lessons.

Give donations to local and national charities, especially to those involved with mental health, cancer, the arts and children.

Welfare grants.

Brass band run as leisure activity for members

To advance the Christian religion by providing financial assistance to the churches of the town of Shrewsbury for the purpose of maintaining and improving their bell installations by making grants to them.

Village Hall used by the community. Also used for parties and fund raising events

To provide sevices and active facilities including a place of central focus and any communial activity for the benefit of the local Community.

Morville Church Building Trust is an independent charity which works very closely with Morville Parochial Church Council to bring about the necessary repairs and restoration work needed on our ancient grade one listed parish church of St Gregory the Great. We receive funds (from gifts, bequests and fundraising) specifically for the building fabric, and help fund projects as and when needed.

Support the children at Church Aston Infants School.

Relieving the charitable needs of the elderly, infirm and disabled of the congregation of St Peters including those suffering from financial hardship, sickness, poor health and both physical and mental disability. These needs include the provision of equipment and facilities to the Church of St Peters Monkmoor to enable use of the Church by the elderly infirm and disabled.

To maintain the parish hall & make it available to the people of the parish for meetings & entertainment.

Cleobury Mortimer FoodBank serves the community of Cleobury Mortimer and the surrounding rural area in South Shropshire with the provision of emergency food items, the giving of advice and support to families and individuals in financial need and cooperates with other local charitable organisations.
