Provision of small sums, at the discretion of the trustees, to lower sixth form students resident in the parishes of Shifnal and Priorslee, both as constituted on 31st March, 1934, for furtherance of their education, e.g. purchase of books, field studies, attendance at courses, etc.

FHWLT seeks to protect, improve and promote the route of the Heart of Wales Line walking trail from Craven Arms in Shropshire to Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, using public rights of way and roughly following the route of the Heart of Wales railway line. We do this by working with the relevant rights of way authorities. Our volunteers check the route and we raise funds to help to improve it

Assist with acquisition of artefacts and funding the professional conservation of the collections held in the Museum.Organise a winter programme of lectures on various topics of interest - where possible linking with an asspect of the work of the museum service.

Small amounts of money are paid to local people who are deemed to be 'in need'.The payment is usually made at Christmas time.

Financial help with temporary needs as approved by a trustee vote, prioritising people living and/or working within the parish of Holy Trinity Church with St Julian Belle Vue in Shrewsbury, Shropshire or who have some connection to the parish church, it's preschool or toddler's group. The second priority is extended to those living and/or working in Shrewsbury and it's neighbouring villages.

The Trust's purpose is to facilitate the placement of young adult volunteers from Lichfield diocese into one of our companion link (overseas) dioceses, and vice versa. The placements will be in churches or church-associated projects and typically for 6 to 12 months. Execution of the programme is managed by the Diocesan St Chad's Volunteer Programme Director.

For restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, beautification and reconstruction of All Saints Church, Worthen and the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels of the church and churchyard belonging to the church.
