Our charity aims to promote gender equality and assist women and girls in Africa. We achieve this by supporting voluntary organizations working towards improving the lives of women and girls in Africa through advice, resources, training, grants, and skill development. We also provide educational courses and knowledge-sharing networks to leaders of these organizations.

The charity is a grant giver which provides funds to The Death Penalty Project Limited (DPP Ltd), enabling it to provide free legal representation to prisoners under sentence of death. The charity and DPP Ltd also conduct capacity building programmes for legal and medical professionals; and develop and commission research studies on issues surrounding the death penalty.

STEMunity, brings STEM educators, professionals, and academics together to created connected learning opportunities for young people. Both online and face-to-face activities, e.g. online activities linked with the RAEng to provide students with web-based STEM based problem solving activities and then activities like the 5PARK box, which allows students to develop their practical learning skills.

Design at its core is about developing skills for problem solving & creating better solutions. Our media work gives communities a voice, enabling them to improve their health & well-being, build peace and advocate for social justice. We are part of the international HCR network of not-for-profit charities. Our activities include: training & capacity-building, strategic planning, project-design, project management, research, monitoring and evaluation, local sustainability development.

We run a charity shop to raise funds for specific projects working among children.

Christians In Action operates in two main ways. In the the church in London we work with children, youth and adults to help them to become mature human beings who can be of service to God and to the community.We also forward support to workers, mainly overseas and funds for projects such as orphanages and a day care centre for children as well as a home for the elderly.

The charity provides sports coaching and physical education, and also improves facilities, at schools in West and Central Africa. The charity also runs a development centre, and creates opportunities for work experience, scholarships and apprenticeships for pupils when leaving school.
