Houses of Promise (HOPE-UK) are building a children's centre in Kent, just outside the capital Freetown in Sierra Leone. This first centre will be able to support 12 children. It will provide a home, health care, food, clothing & education to give these children a hope and a future.

The Paul Hodges Trust provides grants to small charities working to tackle poverty in sub-saharan Africa.

The main areas of activity are:- sustainable grant-making through partnerships with grass-roots non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Africa;- Education and development programmes (website, programme tour/safari, programme conference and newsletter);- Research/ fact-finding site visits to Africa.

Providing resources for the advancement of education and training in Sierra Leone, particularly females facing social exclusion. Supporting the relief of poverty in Sierra Leone, and providing relief to families suffering from the aftermath of the Ebola crisis. The Charity built a bakery to provide affordable nutritious food for a local community near Freetown during this period.

The Trustees have individually supported Sierra Leone since the end of the civil war in 2002. We work primarily with the Christian Community Church Mission in SL to provide support for education, health, and general well-being to children and adults in Sierra Leone. We also work with some primary schools to improve young children's English skills.

The Trust takes a proactive approach in its donation strategy and makes direct approaches to charities it wishes to support, in the context of its objects. It does not therefore invite unsolicited external applications.

Aprender empowers educators to build better schools through coaching, leadership training, and sustainable learning - impacting 1.2M children across the world. We train local coaches who then develop teachers and school leaders. We democratise access to this training through technology solutions that close the digital divide, allowing educators to participate in training at minimal cost.

The ministry is dedicated to advancing Christianity and alleviating poverty through education, healthcare, and spiritual support to people in the UK, Europe and parts of Africa. Working to rehabilitate Masanga Hospital in Sierra Leone

Our charity we went to Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea to visit the orphanages, old people home ,we working with and the children that where awarded scholarship by the charity , and also we went and donate items to the mudslide victims and give some financial donation to some of the people that are affected by the mudslide. and we also visited hospitals and donate bedsheet to the hospital.

the charity has began a challenge to help the community to help families to stay together. Hence we have associated with other organizations to help them with challenges regarding the challenge that families faced with divorce and abuse in various forms.

CARING FOR THE SICK, PROVIDING A HOLISTIC MINISTRY OF CARE AND SUPPORT FOR THE SICK. VISIT THE SICK IN VARIOUS HOSPITALS AND THEIR HOMES, PROVIDING HELP FOR THEM THROUGH PRAYER, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND COUNSELLING. PROVIDING REHABILITATION, MEDICAL CAMP, HEALTH AWARENESS, PUBLIC HEALTH SEMINARS AND HELP-LINE ( HANDLES CALLS FROM THE SICK OR THEIR RELATIVE ) AT ALL TIMES.

Raise awareness and increase understanding of global development issues amongst practising architects and built environment professionals in order to have a positive impact on the lives of those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable.Foster change in the culture of architecture, to make it more relevant and meaningful in the context of global development issues

The Charity supports the Shepherd's Hospice and The Connaught CPU in Freetown, Sierra Leone, by making grants to it, supporting a visiting doctor, and making occasional visits. Funds are raised by a variety of fundraising events, and from donations from individuals and organisations.

The charity focused on growing its community of volunteer workshop organisers as well as improving and promoting our free online resources for women to learn programming.

Support EFSL gives financial and technical aid to the Sierra Leonean Christian community through the Evangelical Fellowship of Sierra Leone, EFSL, who help the local community with the chronic problems associated with ignorance and poverty. The activities are: Church and Community development, social institution development, education and training, reduction in unemployment and Public Health.
