To foster community appreciation of Slough's heritage, developing public understanding of science, technology and industry. In turn this will strengthen roots and develop a sense of belonging for all.To collect, preserve, record, display and interpret material evidence relating to Slough and district that is relevant and accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.

Provision of material and emotional support to people who are homeless, isolated, living in poverty or otherwise disadvantaged living in or around Maidenhead.

SWIPE CARRIED OUT A NUMBER OF PROJECTS OVER THE PAST YEAR FOR DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITIES,INCLUDING PROJECTS TO BRING DIFFERENT RACES AND FAITHS IN OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER, PROMOTING A SHARED SENSE OF BELONGING; USING MUSIC TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY COHESION. WE WILL CONTINUE TO RAISE FUNDS TO PROMOTE THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES, THESE FUNDS ARE EITHER LOTTERY OR GOVERNMENT BASED.

The propogation of the Christian Gospel in the Protestant/Bible-believing tradition of 18th century Wesleyan Methodism. The church's work focuses on the salvation of sinners and the nurturing of believers. It operates primarily in neighbourhood of Penn, Bucks, including the nearby town of High Wycombe, but also engages in regular open air preaching in Slough, Uxbridge and central London.

Provides a multi arts festival in September/October each year.

Making grants to schools to pursue outdoor education activities

To put on public concerts at least three times per year. To provide music to other choirs/organisations from our extensive library, to raise money for other charities/good causes, to commission works of music, to involve children/school choirs in performance,to organise workshops,to encourage public participation in singing

Wallingford Chameleon Arts provide a platform for talented musicians to perform in a series of high quality concerts, giving the population the opportunity to hear live music, including some less well known and recently composed works, played at an excellent standard by musicians who are often young. This gives a service to musicians and the public who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

Provide the facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for the benefit of all Disabled Persons within the Slough and South Bucks area

The charity objectives are following: (1) The relief of sickness in rural Pakistan in particular by assisting in the provision and management of hospital. (2) The advancement of education in rural Pakistan in particular by provision books, scholarships and school.

The 1st Britwell Scout Group provides a range of activities in line with the Scout Association's training programme. Our membership is boys and girls between the ages of 6 to 14 years.These activities are varied, some examples are: camping, hiking, water and team building.

We are a music promotion society.

We provide support for the Buckinghamshire County Museum, through financial assistance for the purchase of items for the collection and other purposes, the provision of volunteers, and the promotion of the Museum throughout the county.

Religious activities and propagation of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

We are an ecumenical charity working on global issues, particularly those embodied in the Millenium Development Goals. We work by linking people to resources, networks and accurate, up-to-date information in order to foster Christian responsibility worldwide.

The charity's purpose is 1.To provide immediate assistance to Berkshire Mark Masons or their widows in time of need in compliance with our by laws; 2. Support to small local charities; 3. Support to one Berkshire-wide Charity each year;4. Support to National Charitable Giving through the Mark Benevolent Fund.Support to Option 1 will always receive first call on funds.
