THE BIOCHEMICAL SOCIETY EXISTS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE MOLECULAR AND CELLULAR BIOSCIENCES, BOTH AS AN ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE AND TO PROMOTE ITS IMPACT ON AREAS OF SCIENCE INCLUDING BIOTECHNOLOGY, AGRICULTURE, AND MEDICINE.WE ACHIEVE OUR MISSION THOUGH OUR PUBLICATIONS AND JOURNALS, SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, POLICY WORK, AWARDS AND GRANTS TO SCIENTISTS AND STUDENTS.

The objects of the charity are to provide an accessible and flexible accreditation service which helps to widen access to education and training for all learners, particularly those who have benefited least in the past from available provision.

We help children and young people explore the Bible, respond to Jesus and grow in faith. We make Jesus known through our work in communities, schools, holidays and missions. Through publishing, using print and digital media, we aim to inspire leaders to make disciples of children and young people with our resources and to equip Christians to grow in discipleship with Bible guides and publications.

The SEA LIFE TRUST develops, delivers and supports projects and campaigns and operates marine wildlife sanctuaries to help make a measurable difference to the protection of marine and freshwater wildlife and habitats across the world. Our main focus areas are: campaigning for freshwater & marine protection, reducing plastic pollution & overfishing in our seas and marine rescue & rehabilitation.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST ELDERLY RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES.

Our focus is on non-confrontational, pragmatic, science-based programmes & solutions to build a world where biodiversity thrives & people conserve nature both for its own sake and for its ability to enrich human lives. The programmes TNC-UK supports will focus on globally significant lands, rivers, lakes, oceans and strategies to create more sustainable cities and stabilise the climate.

THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL TREATIES AND LAWS) THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PARTICULAR BY (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) PROTECTING FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND THE RIGHT TO FREE EXPRESSION.

Concordia is committed to national and international volunteering and work placements to promote intercultural understanding and peace. The charity's primary objective is the advancement of education by the study and practice of Thoracic Surgery and related medical subjects. This involves the organisation of European Board exams in Thoracic Surgery, organising annual conferences, supporting scientific publications of thoracic surgery and facilitating exchange of teachers and trainees in thoracic surgery.

The charity delivered child protection training and governance training (online, with assessment), reduced pricing for professional conferences and advisory services, emergency planning management, access to ECIS research, and funding (grants and fellowships). The charity launched a free global community platform for educators worldwide, as a public benefit.

Our charitable objectives lie in advancing microbiology research and education, and applying microbiological knowledge. The MS International Federation is a global network of organisations. We collaborate to improve the quality of life of people affected by MS and work for: better scientific understanding and development of treatments; improved access to treatment and to trustworthy information; better policies and practices; a strong MS movement, including in countries with challenging socio-economic conditions.

The provision of Christian teaching materials including books, audio/visual products, a monthly magazine, TV broadcasting, website downloads, a prayer phone-line and a specific Christian-based ministry to prisoners.

The object of the charity is to reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ the 300 million Slavic people and others throughout the world, and to relieve need, in those parts of the world in which the Association operates. In practice this is accomplished by assisting the Church in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia to become fully equipped to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ.
