Promotion of training and Health and Safety Advice and Service

The charity undertakes fund raising activities, holds informative events, supports those in need within the Jamaican community in the West Midlands as well as supporting a charity for abandoned and disabled children in Jamaica. The charity also works to strengthen the links between Jamaicans in UK and Jamaicans with the wider community in the West Midlands (See our objects).

AAOTP celebrates the creative talents of those who have or have had mental health problems across all aspects of the Arts, and promotes the value of the Arts in Mental Health recovery. It gives free exhibition space to people who might otherwise have no opportunity to showcase their talent. Acts as a way of reducing the stigma and discrimination many people with mental health problems face.

The principal activity is the provision of a house (49 Newton Road, Knowle) for the use of the parish of Knowle. This house is leased to a member of the clergy at a market rent. From the rental income received, the charity insures the building and carries out repairs and improvements to the property.

We provide therapeutic support to as many people as possible. We ensure those who need help can get it through our local partnership, Our network of therapists are masters trained, also trained work with different areas of difficulty, including feeling stressed or anxious, panic attacks, school or workplace bullying, grief & bereavement, family problems, low self-esteem, and self-harm & suicide.

The Community Centre is located on a large housing estate in the Borough of Solihull. A wide range of activities are held, termly and throughout the year, to cater for all ages and abilities. The Centre benefits not only the local community but also people from the surrounding areas.

The Charity provides a centre of excellence for the medical care of adult patients suffering from cystic fibrosis for the whole of the West Midlands region. The Charity seeks to continually improve the centre for the benefit of patients. It also promotes research into the causes and treatment of cystic fibrosis, provides counselling services and furthers public education about the condition.

Performing Arts

Monthly Core Meetings, usually with a speaker. 31 active interest groups which meet regularly at different venues with a view to enhancing the learning and experiences of our members. Non members may attend a maximum of two meetings before they are required to join the U3A.Annual General Meeting to elect/re-elect trustees, receive presentation on previous years approve accounts.

To provide recreational, sporting and educational facilities at an affordable cost to the local community.

To Hire/provide rooms, garden, accommodation for church and/ or parish groups.

To enhance the education of the pupils at the school by the provision of finance. This has not changed since the charity was started.

Fundraising for the school

To relieve poverty, hardship and distress of the localCommunity resides in the in the West Midlands. The advancement of education for the public benefit by such means as the trustees see fit and fulfil the religious needs of the public.

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS THE ORGANISATION OF CHARITABLE EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDING TO BE UTILISED FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY AND FOR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATION THROUGH CASH GRANTS OR THE PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES.

Funds will be distributed for the relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable and educational purpose, institution, society or object as Rotary International District 1060 shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct. The initial fund was created for the provision of holidays for underprivileged young people under 18 yearts of age - "The childrens holiday fund".

Stillwaters offers support to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy or those struggling with the loss of a pregnancy. We have fully trained staff to deal with pre/post abortion issues.

ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY DEVELOPING THE SKILLS OF SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE OF THE UK, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EX-OFFENDERS, SO THEY CAN IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY and TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION/ PROTECTION OF HONEY BEES AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY PROMOTING BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY.

To provide or assist in the provision of medical and recreational equipment and other leisure time occupation or interest for children and young people who have need for such facilities by reason of infimity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Building Blocks is the West Midlands Police Forces charitable trust and only funds projects which are within the West Midlands county. Its main focus is youth and projects which tackle the issues of drug abuse and diverting young people from crime.

To advance in life, relieve the needs of and help disabled and able bodied young people resident in the West Midlands through the provision of facilities, equipment and financial assistance designed to remove barriers to participation in sports.
