General meetings and activitity groups with an educational and/or social content

Provides a counselling service using solution focused brief therapy method. Trains other professionals in brief solution focused methods.

The Charity supports a part-time co-ordinator and the costs of events and activities to deliver the key objectives of information and guidance through a website, capacity building though attracting adult volunteers, supporting sharing and collaboration, and advocacy and raising awareness of the benefits of being involved in one of the eleven youth organisations in uniform in the West Midlands.

Part of Lions Clubs International the Club holds events during the year to support Partner Charities, for youth support, Lions and other local charities and causes. We obtain sponsorship for each event to ensure that all the money that is raised by participants in the events goes to charities in one way or another. Our main event is the Knowle Fun Run which raised nearly GBP21,000 in 2024.

Bosnian Cultural Centre Midlands is seeking to provide support for the disadvantaged Bosnian community by promoting education and training, advocacy, and research, so as to further health and poverty relief, and to alleviate social exclusion, distress and sickness.

SUPPORT OF MAINLY LOCAL CHARITIES

We run regular sessions for people with lived experience of seeking asylum in the UK, enabling people to explore their stories and experiences, creating community and building a sense of belonging and self-worth.We facilitate encounters to share stories, especially in schools, educating others about the experience of seeking asylum, challenging misconceptions and fostering positive relationships

Giving grants to people in need and to organisations that meet the scheme's criteria, leasing out the playing fields and clubhouse in Meeting House Lane, Balsall Common as a community sports facility and owning the Reading Room in Berkswell which is run as a community village hall by the Reading Room Committee on behalf of the Lant Charity

Fund raising events throughout the year:fireworks display, Christmas Ball, Table Top Sale, Bingo and Balti night, Sale of Refreshments and sub-club.All profits are used to purchase equipment and services for the benefit of pupils at Arden school.

Grant Making

Advance in life and relieve the needs of young male persons aged 10 to 18 years in Solihull and surrounding area by the provision of a range of challenging outdoor sports and adventure activities at weekly meetings and residential trips which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals

The Charity's objectives are to advance the education, health and wellbeing of 800 plus vulnerable children and orphans who attend Brainhouse Academy in Mathare North slum, Kenya. The charity support the basic rights of a child; to be cared for, to have a safe place to live, to have food and clean water to drink, to be protected from harm and to be given a good education.

1. Religious ceremony held on 09 November 2014 during which, ?1125 were received as donations from the community members.2. ?1106 were spent on religious ceremony, including Coach for the elderly.3. A coach trip to Blackpool was arranged for poor families and children.4. ?10000 were donated to DEC for Nepal Earth quake disaster for the help of people who lost their homes.

To advance Bible-based Christian faith to the glory of God and the honour of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Christadelphian Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith, for the benefit of the Christadelphian community and members of the public, particularly in and around Wythall.

Our Charity is set up to relieve need, hardship or distress by the provision of essential items to those in need. Including support for volunteering, education, training and health & wellbeing, as appropriate. Focussing on residents within North Solihull and neighbouring areas.

The Bentley Heath Community Association is responsible for the running and upkeep of the Bentley Heath Village Hall. The hall is used extensively by the local community and has done so for the past 50+ years. It is used by The Brownies, Dorridge & District Patients Group, many Gardening groups, and Keep Fit groups.

Education and training in floral art and other associated activities.

We maintain a well kept village hall providing facilities for local and non local residents. Activities include facilities for badminton, weekly circuit training, weekly special needs playgroup, Ring Craft. Large hall available for larger groups, meeting room for parish council's & other meetings. Family and club celebrations/parties, dog shows, quizzes, bands. Large car park

Work towards the relief of poverty and mental or physical sickness amongst people in Romania.

First trading period is the year ending 31 December 2016. Using Edgbaston stadium and WCCCs unique sporting resources, the Foundation raises funds, works with partners and supports initiatives designed to improve the lives of people and communities in our local area through better health, wellbeing and social inclusion.

The objectives are to apply the income, and all or such parts of the capital as the trustees think fit to charities that support the elderly or disadvantaged children.
