The aim of Moseley and Kings Heath Shed is to contribute toward the improvement in both mental and physical health and well-being of (mainly) older people in these areas of Birmingham.We provide a physical space for members to socialise and engage in activities such as working with wood, metal,glass,mosaics,arts,drawing,fabrics, leather and share their skills, knowledge and experience with others.

Managing Knowle Village Hall for the benefit of the community

Solihull Choral Society promotes a regular series of choral concerts in the area. We have a broadly based membership with the ages of singers ranging from 16 to 70+. Young singers enjoy free membership and are paid a bursary.We promote concerts involving the best professional soloists and orchestras and have a wide repertoire with works from the baroque to the 21st centuary.

Round Table general fundraising

Organising events to - raise funds to provide equipment, educational activities etc for pupils of Greswold Primary School. - foster relationships between pupils, staff, parents and others associated with Greswold Primary School.

To educate the public in the arts, and in particular the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

ORGANISE FESTIVAL FOR THE VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS EACH YEAR

The Charity continued its support of the Bursary scheme at Coventry University, specifically supporting candidates taking degree courses in Engineering and related subjects. The Charity also continued it's policy of considering other appropriate causes primarily in the Coventry, Warwickshire and Midlands region.

Provide holidays and day trips and other activities for people with Dementia and their Carers

SCOUT GROUP

A Scout Group that works with boys and girls from the age of 6 onwards providing activities that develop the individual.

To develop and maintain public education in the art and science of music in all its aspects, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.To further such charitable purpose or purposes as the trustees shall think fit but, in particular, through the making of grants and donations.

The club continues to raise funds from tin shakes, sponsored swims and various charitable events evenings.

COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS ARE TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WHO ATTEND EMERGENCY CALLS FOR THE AMBULANCE SERVICE, WHO CAN PROVIDE LIFE-SAVING TREATMENT TO PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY WHO ARE INJURED OR ILL, PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF AN EMERGENCY AMBULANCE.URGENT HELP IS VITALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE-THREATENING CASES EG HEART ATTACKS, CARDIAC ARREST, CHOKING, BREATHING, LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS OR SEVERE BLOOD LOSS.

Bentley Heath School Association is a Parent Teacher Association. Its primary objective is to raise funds for the purchase of additional equipment for Bentley Heath Primary School.

Halesowen Asian Elderly Association provides advocacy, advice and information service to ourmembers, who are elderly men and women of Asian origin. We organise and facilitate gentle exercise classes , health awareness and safety courses in our centre. We also arrange, Computers for Health training basic courses.

To realize our charitable objectives, we focus our support on a limited number of areas:? Advancement of Leadership Research and Development? Advancement of Research and Development? We are an amateur orchestra with around 40 members. We perform around 4 concerts per year in the Solihull area, including outreach projects and an annual concert where talented young performers get a chance to perform a concerto with an orchestra.

The main objective is the furthering the teaching of Buddhism and Buddhist culture to the community. The charities main activity is providing the community with opportunities to deepen their cultural understanding and community cohesion. Typical activities include public talks, meditation, formal ceremonies and Sunday school teaching. The centre is open to everyone
