TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM CANCER AND THEIR FAMILIES BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING WITH THE PROVISIONS OF EQUIPMENT FACILITIES AND SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF PUBLIC ROAD PASSENGER TRANSPORT AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE HISTORY OF THOSE COMPANIES AND TYPES OF VEHICLES OPERATED THROUGH THE THAMES VALLEY AND GREAT WESTERN ROAD TRANSPORT CORRIDORS. CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE VINTAGE BUS RUNNING DAYS WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN EXPERIENCE BYGONE TRAVEL, RESTORATION OF HERITAGE VEHICLES, AND RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS.

Somerset Wildlands makes space for nature through rewilding, acquiring patches of land large and small which can be managed in as hands off a way as possible, to create wild stepping stones to benefit wildlife and people.

Operation of a village Pre School open between 8.30 to 4.00. Between the ages of 2 and 4 years 11 months. Term time only.

Animal sanctuary

In The Mix Project provides youth and community services for children and young people, and their families across Somerset. The Charity offer a range of social, economic, educational and recreational opportunities, designed to encourage social inclusion and life-long learning, helping to create both economic and social independence, linking to core youth work practices and principles.

Bristol Spear oversees the running of the Spear Centre in Bristol. In joint venture partnership with Resurgo Trust, Bristol Spear runs a free twelve-month programme beginning with an intensive six-week foundation phase aimed at getting disadvantaged young people (16-24) year olds ready for work, followed by support to find work or relevant further training.

B Sharp, based in Lyme Regis, West Dorset, provides high quality music-making opportunities to excite and inspire young people. Our aim is to bring out the strengths in every child building confidence and self esteem. Our professional music leaders have between them the highest level and range of experience. We have a regular ongoing offer of extra curricular projects for 11- 18 year olds.

Windsor Hill Wood is a family based community set in a woodland smallholding offering Christian hospitality to all regardless of race, religion or absence of religion, sexual orientation, mental or physical ability. All the tasks necessary for the community to function are shared by all who live there.

The Charity offers a child centred approach to learning for children of a Pre-School age (2-4/5yr old). Children are valued and listened to whilst developing kindness towards each other. The Pre-School is committee run by volunteers.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

At Trull Saplings Preschool we care for children aged from 2 years to school entry. We provide the children with a well planned and safe environment that makes organised provision for children and interest through a wide range of activities.

One-to-one low-cost, long-term counselling and psychotherapy to Bristol and the surrounding area; Non-12 step alcohol support groups; Relapse prevention programmes. Training and supervision of counsellors offering the Swan counselling service.

UNDERTAKE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION RELEVANT TO PRIMARY CARE AND GENERAL PRACTICE

To advance the education of the public in theatrical arts (music, drama and dance) by the provision of quality amateur theatre productions in Bath.

Care and Education of children under five years old.

Exeter Science Centre is working to create a STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Medicine) Discovery Centre for people of all ages and backgrounds. In parallel, we develop and deliver educational activities, events and information media for schools and the general public, particularly related to global issues and STEAMM research and industry in the region.

The charity supports the work of The Mendip School through fundraising and donations towards the work of the school. All parents, carers, teachers and friends of the schools are members of the Friends. No unsolicited applications are accepted.

Montacute Pre-School provides high quality care and education through play to children aged from 2 years to school age.The Pre-School follows the early years/foundation stage curriculum as stipulated by Ofsted and accepts children in receipt of Early Years Entitlement.

Provides information and promotes knowledge about the peoples and countries of the Commonwealth, providing a meeting place for members, maintains library, holds meetings, talks and lectures on the Commonwealth, supports young people and students in studies relating to the Commonwealth, cooperates with other organizations interested or working in Commonwealth countries.

To serve the public good by promoting the study and practice of the art and science of Meditation and Natural Healing.
