The principal activity of the company is to advance the education of the public in the history and development of diesel traction on the railways of the West of England by the preservation and operation of diesel locomotives and associated equipment on the West Somerset railway.

The PCC is responsible for offering pastoral care for the parish of Martock as a whole and the church's membership (112 in 2016). Playgroup

To enable young people (8-25) to develop their Christian faith through teaching, worship and fun in a residential setting. This can be for a weekend or a week or for those 16 and over, on a year out programme.

The Charity owns and manages a former Parish Church that stands within its own Churchyard. The main activity of the Charity is the generation of sufficient income from weddings and other services or events at St. Margaret's Church, Babington to maintain the property and grounds in a good state of repair.

Searching for and rescuing missing and vunerable persons in Devon and Somerset.

Running St Michael's swimming pool and raising funds to support pool initiatives.

the charity shop raises funds to provide support for Animals Asia ( charity no 1086903) as well as providing grants and donations to other registered animal charities.

To plan, produce and present the annual Frome Festival in early July, including fundraising solely for these purposes.

Provision of youth work activities and services for local communities in Somerset for young people aged 8 and above.

For young people in the rural community to gain skills and confidence in a variety of events, with the opportunity to represent their County in competitions.
