The objects of the CIO are to provide or assist in the provision for the inhabitants of the Parish of Kingsbury Episcopi and the neighbourhood thereof (the area of benefit) facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The charity object is the advancement of the education of persons studying agriculture, horticulture, arboriculture and allied trades by means of the establishment and administration of City and Guilds Land Based Services approved proficiency test centres for the purpose of assessing the skills of such students.

Provision of a place of worship (Church of England Parish Church)and maintenance of a graveyard

The principal activity of the charity will aim to raise funds from an annual golf day and related events, including sponsorship and donations. These funds will then be used to provide relief to children and young people, within the area of Dorset and surrounding counties, who are suffering from physical or learning disabilities, in line with the Charity's objective.

Provision of Advice, Support, Information, and Activites for the benifit of the Residents of North Taunton

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

The charity has twelve properties referred to as almshouses. The almshouses are for long-term residents of Shepton Mallet and immediate surrounds, preferably aged over 55 whose circumstances require a move to sheltered accommodation; if younger, a higher level of need has to be established.

Provide pre-school education for children aged 2 years and up.

Training/development for effective practical application of objectives. Courses for public benefit: Healing conferences and inner healing, available to all local churches and individuals; financial support to local charities, food bank, homeless, and international crises; and support to Schools and Care Homes. Christian counsel to children, familiesor individuals online or in person.

For the relief of children and young people who are suffering from conditions of poverty, deprivation, hardship and distress particularly but not exclusively through the provision of workshops, counselling, information, teaching and advice and to provide support services to their families as the trustees think fit.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of people living with dementia, their relatives and carers in Bristol and the surrounding area through the provision of support, education and practical advice.To raise dementia awareness amongst throughout Bristol and the surrounding area by the provision of workshops, awareness sessions and road shows.

Help for Homeless provides vital support to the homeless on the streets of towns or cities in the South West. With help from its network of volunteers help for HOMELESS goes onto the streets and distributes from a van essentials including; bedding, tents, clothing, sanitaryware and food.

Sherborne Community Kitchen is a non-profit charity providing healthy, locally cooked lunches to elderly & vulnerable people in Sherborne and the surrounding area. Funds we raise enable beneficiaries who are referred to us by partner agencies to enjoy healthy free meals.

We are a Male Voice Choir who learn music and song to enable us to sing in concerts to help raise monies for other charities. We have enjoyed singing in Italy, Spain, Austria, France, Germany and Belgium together with venues like Symphony Hall in Birmingham, St George's Chapel in Windsor and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The object of the charity is twofold- firstly to provide relief in need generally or individually to persons resident in the parish of Ilchester and secondly in the promotion of education of persons resident in the parish of Ilchester. Persons living in places other than Ilchester will not be considered.

The promotion and furtherance of the craft of beekeeping and advancement of education of the public in the importance of bees in the environment

The playgroup offers a childcare service to all the local community . We encourage parents to take part in activities such as family days, play days and annual trips. We hold fund raising events such as raffles at Easter and Christmas, themed discos, and quiz nights to raise money to buy equipment to enhance the learning and experiences of the children.

Presents public choir concerts and broadcasts in local venues with members from Bristol and surrounding counties and hosts educational tours for its members.
