VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL, PROVIDING PRE-SCHOOL CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 - 4.THIS SETTING IS BASED IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM OF THE SCHOOL AND OFFERS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND THE EYFS STATUTORY GUIDANCE, INCLUDING PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT, LANGUAGE, BOOKS, PUZZLES,CONSTRUCTION AND NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND AREAS OF LEARNING.

The object of the charity is in the interests of social welfare, to improve conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit by the provision and maintenance of: a) A village hall for use of the inhabitants, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation and b) A recreation ground for use by the inhabitants.

WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DEVON & SOMERSET FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE / LOCAL COMMUNITES ON COMMUNITY SAFETY. OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

The charity operates within the terms of a Community Partnership Agreement in partnership with Somerset County Council to provide a library service in Somerton for the public benefit open to all eligible members of the community.

The advancement of the christian religion by means of broadcasting christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature, for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals; producing and/or distributing literature on christianity to enlighten others

Provides education and care for pre-school age children.

The object of the charity is to provide almshouses for poor persons who (except in special cases to be approved by the commissioners) have resided in the area of the ancient parish of Yeovil for not less than 5 years.Woborns Almshouse is a two-storey structure consisting of 8 units for residents.

Presentation of musical shows.

To work for the assistance of persons who are suicidal, despairing or in distress by providing a service primarily intended for the benefit of persons in Bath & district and the surrounding area to enable such persons to receive immediate help, compassion and befriending from members of the charity selected and prepared for the purpose working under direction.

1) We run and support Christian unions, mentoring services, breakfast and lunch clubs in several secondary schools in Taunton. 2) Provide youth events during some school terms . 3) Provide youth and youth work volunteer training for Christians seeking to develop ministries. 4) Participate in detached youth work in local parks

MDT works with the community to deliver social, economic and cultural regeneration projects. MDT's main aim is to acquire the redundant Old Hospital and develop it as a town-centre community hub including an information centre, the Library, a museum and space for events. MDT currently runs Minehead Information Centre and employs a manager to support the town's economic regeneration strategy.

To provide or assist in the provision of cycling equipment and facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need.Providing regular opportunities for physical and mental well-being through our programme of inclusive cycling using adapted and accessible bikes, trikes, hand cycles and tandems in a traffic free environment.

Love Glastonbury exists to - alleviate food poverty; and reduce our environmentalimpact - for those living in, or resorting to, the town of Glastonbury and surroundingenvirons.We do this through redirecting fresh food daily that would otherwise be going to landfillto our community fridge and offering a heavily subsidised/free-to-use communitypantry stocked with long shelf-life food.

To live out the Christian faith in South Chard, Chard and local villages in Somerset, other parts of the UK and the world. Its services include public worship, community support services and international mission work. Our main beneficiaries are local people and those who require assistance overseas. We are financed by the giving of our local congregation.

USE OF INVESTMENT INCOME FOR ADVANCEMENT OF GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SOCIETY'S OBJECTIVES; IE TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THOSE AREAS.

Physical Wellbeing Activities through therapeutic gardening helping people with learning difficulties, mental health problems and children.

Knights Templar School and Community Association is working to develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school in Watchet, West Somerset. We also engage in activities / provide facilities or equipment which supports the school to advance the education of its pupils.

The Charity's objects are to educate the public in the art of music in all its aspects by the presentation of professional public concerts, talks, workshops and masterclasses. Concerts in the West also aims to support young, highly trained, professional musicians early in their careers. Eight to ten mini-tours are organised each year for musicians to perform in venues in the West Country.
