We provide regular religious services, including services for young people. Support for families with children. Activities during the year for young people. Regular Soup Lunch for members of the community. Facilitate Alcombe Food Cupboard which supports families and individuals in need. Regular fund raising events for local, national and global mission.

To promote healthy activity for the benefit of the inhabitants of Taunton and its surrounding district by the provision of facilities for athletics.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

The aim of the Charity is to promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world. Somerset County is composed of 10 Divisions. Each of these has numerous units. Weekly guiding activities, camps, crafts and sporting events take place at all levels.

The charity is constituted by trust deed, and its objects are to educate young children in the dramatic and operatic arts and to develop their appreciation in the arts by the provision of public performances of pantomime.During the period 2022 - 23, the charity successfully put on the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton

Advancing the Coptic Orthodox Christian faith in Devon, Cornwall and the whole of the South West of England. We are the only church of It's kind in that region. Now we are established in our own building which was bought on the 24th of November 2011 in Blunts Lane, Derriford, Plymouth, PL6 8BE. Having our own centre will enable our church to conduct all Coptic Orthodox marriages and funerals.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HOLY BIBLE THROUGH SERIES OF BIBLE STUDIES, LESSONS AND COUNSELLING, TO STRENGTHEN AND REHABILITATE LIVES. KJC SUPPORTS VARIOUS PROJECTS FROM YOUTH GROUPS AND ASSISTING SENIORS, LOW-INCOME FAMILIES, LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND OVERSEAS TO POVERTY STRICKEN COUNTRIES. WE ARE HERE TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER, LINKING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER.

To provide or assist in the provision of cycling equipment and facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need.Providing regular opportunities for physical and mental well-being through our programme of inclusive cycling using adapted and accessible bikes, trikes, hand cycles and tandems in a traffic free environment.

The objects of the charity are:to further any charitable purpose, whether or not the purpose is carried out within England and Wales or elsewhere, orto benefit any charitable institution, whether or not its works are carried out within England or Wales or elsewhere.

The North Devon Athenaeum provides resources and advice to the general public on local and family history within the North Devon and West Country area. The North Devon Athenaeum holds and maintains extensive collections of local and general interest books, as well as historical documents about local and family history.

Directly or via the support of other Charitable Bodies to advance in life and relieve the needs of young people up to the age 21 years who are resident in the County of Somerset and particularly but not exclusively living in the locality of St Andrew's Church Congresbury.

TO PROMOTE SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Wivey Cares, operates in the Wiveliscombe and the Ten Parish area of Somerset.We aim to connect those in need of claiming their benefits, care, assistance, companionship, provision of food or friendship with local volunteers, or paid MicroProviders.These connections are overseen by our co-ordinator, who liaises with local referral agencies such as the local doctor's surgery and Village agent.

Hakeford Woods operates a Forest School in a North Devon woodland. The woods are managed to enable a variety of activities for people of all ages including Forest School sessions for children, Wellbeing sessions for adults, family sessions, skills based courses and volunteering opportunities.The site is managed for a high degree of biodiversity.

WORKING HANDS raises funds for a surgical programme, currently based at a leprosy hospital in Nepal, supporting a team of Hand Surgeons who travel there to operate and to teach the local surgeons. Working Hands is independent, and all donated funds find their way directly to the front line of treatment, purchasing equipment and consumables for each trip. The Surgeons give their time for free.

Prodigal Bikes collects unwanted bikes in the UK. We refurbish them, then send them to Africa to help people there gain access to education, healthcare and employment. The bikes are prepared here by ex-offenders, ex-homeless people and school children at risk of exclusion. We teach them bike maintenance skills and inspire them towards further training and employment in Engineering related jobs.

The charity is an almshouse. It operates a Grade II* listed building known as Harveys containing 8 one bedroomed flats. It also operates 2 one bedroomed bungalows. The former building results from the legacy of Richard Harvey the bungalows replaced four bedsits built to commemorate the diamond jubliee of Queen Victoria.

THE TRUST'S MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE EACH YEAR FOUR COURSES FOR ADVANCED STUDENTS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF CHAMBER MUSIC. THE PARTICIPANTS WILL NORMALLY BE AT POST-GRADUATE LEVEL AND PLANNING TO MAKE CHAMBER MUSIC THEIR CAREER OR A PART OF THEIR CAREER. THE COURSES ARE RESIDENTIAL AND LAST ELEVEN DAYS EACH, AND ARE HELD IN SURREY. EACH COURSE CULMINATES IN THREE PUBLIC CONCERTS.

Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved Teaching of Christianity through sermons,courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and distribution of literature.

SERV Wessex provides a free out of hours transportation service for NHS Hospitals in the Wessex area, 365 days per year, between 19:00 and 06:00 weekday evenings and 24hrs a day at weekends and on public holidays. SERV Wessex transports blood products and other urgent consignments allowing hospitals to divert financial and staff resources elsewhere.

The Chapel in the Garden, Bridport, is a Unitarian community established prior to 1662 that accepts members of all faiths or none. We promote a wide range of activities for everyone of all ages including formal and informal worship, counselling, adult education, theatre, music and dance - and charitable outreach ranging from a winter coat rail and a community fridge, to wider support of refugees.

The Max Carey Woodturrning Trust's object is to advance the education of the public in the subject of woodturning. It achieves this by providing fully equipped workshop facilities, structured courses and tuition.
