The Groups four sections, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorers are for children aged between 6 & 18. Activities include sailing, kayaking, powerboating, rowing, swimming, hill walking, camping, archery, lifeskills and many more which are contained within the Scout progress awards.

Advancing the Coptic Orthodox Christian faith in Devon, Cornwall and the whole of the South West of England. We are the only church of It's kind in that region. Now we are established in our own building which was bought on the 24th of November 2011 in Blunts Lane, Derriford, Plymouth, PL6 8BE. Having our own centre will enable our church to conduct all Coptic Orthodox marriages and funerals.

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Draycott and neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Family history & genealogy

WORKING HANDS raises funds for a surgical programme, currently based at a leprosy hospital in Nepal, supporting a team of Hand Surgeons who travel there to operate and to teach the local surgeons. Working Hands is independent, and all donated funds find their way directly to the front line of treatment, purchasing equipment and consumables for each trip. The Surgeons give their time for free.

PROVIDING OR ASSISTING THE PROVISION OF SPECIAL BENEFITS, GRANTS AND SCOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND PROMOTING EDUCATION

The North Devon Athenaeum provides resources and advice to the general public on local and family history within the North Devon and West Country area. The North Devon Athenaeum holds and maintains extensive collections of local and general interest books, as well as historical documents about local and family history.

Provide advancement of amateur sport by promoting the game of football for the benefit of the residents of Whitchurch Bristol and surrounding districts and to provide facilities for, and to promote community participation in, the amateur sport of association football in Whitchurch Bristol and surrounding districts.

The charity is an almshouse. It operates a Grade II* listed building known as Harveys containing 8 one bedroomed flats. It also operates 2 one bedroomed bungalows. The former building results from the legacy of Richard Harvey the bungalows replaced four bedsits built to commemorate the diamond jubliee of Queen Victoria.

THE TRUST'S MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE EACH YEAR FOUR COURSES FOR ADVANCED STUDENTS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF CHAMBER MUSIC. THE PARTICIPANTS WILL NORMALLY BE AT POST-GRADUATE LEVEL AND PLANNING TO MAKE CHAMBER MUSIC THEIR CAREER OR A PART OF THEIR CAREER. THE COURSES ARE RESIDENTIAL AND LAST ELEVEN DAYS EACH, AND ARE HELD IN SURREY. EACH COURSE CULMINATES IN THREE PUBLIC CONCERTS.

To provide and maintain a village hall facility for the use of residents and non residents. Particularly encouraging activities for the youth.

Regular public worship open to all. Provisional of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved Teaching of Christianity through sermons,courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and distribution of literature.

In fulfilling our role as a local Baptist Church, we undertake a range of activities including regular public worship, prayer, preaching and teaching, baptisms, youth work, home groups, weekly open coffee morning/warm space

SERV Wessex provides a free out of hours transportation service for NHS Hospitals in the Wessex area, 365 days per year, between 19:00 and 06:00 weekday evenings and 24hrs a day at weekends and on public holidays. SERV Wessex transports blood products and other urgent consignments allowing hospitals to divert financial and staff resources elsewhere.

The Chapel in the Garden, Bridport, is a Unitarian community established prior to 1662 that accepts members of all faiths or none. We promote a wide range of activities for everyone of all ages including formal and informal worship, counselling, adult education, theatre, music and dance - and charitable outreach ranging from a winter coat rail and a community fridge, to wider support of refugees.

To benefit elderly people resident in Somerset with preference for elderly persons resident in the Shepton Mallet area

The charity runs a shop retailing new and second hand Christian books, CDs, DVDs, greetings cards, gifts, including Fairtrade items which also incorporates a coffee shop selling snacks, light lunches and hot and cold drinks. The charity also takes items out to churches for sale there when requested and to the Mid Devon Show.

Our purpose is to promote, for the benefit of Winsham and surrounding area, the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances, or for the public at large.

Frome Birth Talk provides a free counselling service for pregnant and parents in Frome, Westbury, Warminster and the surrounding area. We also offer two free weekly drop-in groups and occasional wellbeing events. All our activities are designed to promote positive perinatal mental health and bring people together to combat loneliness and isolation.
