PALS is a water fitness group. We run four aqua aerobics sessions per week as well as social events and outings. Our sessions are run by qualified aqua aerobics teachers and fully attended by qualified lifeguard. Members come from as far away as Taunton and Dulverton. If you are in any doubt about your fitness, please consult your GP, but be assured that we do accept GP and hospital referrals.

NB4U befriend 'lifer' Prisoners in local prisons. The Co-Founders and volunteers visit 10 prisoners every month We accompany them on ROTL's and Home Leaves. We attend Parole Hearings and on release meet them 'at the gate' and take them to their Hostels providing essential items. Our motto is 'Befriending Prisoners, mentoring Ex-Offenders so they NEVER re-offend again' and it works!

MANAGEMENT OF BIRCHFIELD COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE BENIFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Provides and maintains a building and grounds as a venue for community events.

To promote youth football for both boys and girls within Tiverton and its surrounding area.

To improve the quality of life and relieve poverty sickness and distress among adults with a learning difficulty by the provision of a range of housing options in response to the needs and expressed preferences of such adults living in the local area

The trustees meet twice a year to consider requests from individuals and charities living or operating in the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Their objectives will be in community projects, education, medical, health, disability, poverty relief and emergency aid.Please submit applications by email to Liz Williams in January and February or July and August.

Communion each Sunday - usually incorporates a Bible Talk. Sunday School most Sundays during School terms Target age 4 yrs and older. Youth Group - fortnightly on Fridays during school terms. Scouting to boys & girls between ages of 6 - 18.

To help children and young adults aged 18 and below who are from deprived backgrounds and/or who are mentally and/or physically disabled to enjoy a better quality of life by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities.

Provide and maintain the Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Edington and the public in general in surrounding areas.

Provision of quality:supportive:accessible advice & information to help vulnerable people resolve problems & improve their quality of life through the pro-active projects set up by services users & members. Helping disabled and vulnerable individuals access transport to help them become more active in their community and social lives.

The education of the public by promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Fleet Air Arm Museum through the activities of a group of Members.

The Victorian Church as a Grade 11* listed building is important as the main centre of Catholic worship in Taunton and surrounding area, as well as being part of the cultural and historic heritage of the town. This year the trust has not received any requests for financial assistance from the Parish Priest. Various projects are being processed and will require financing.

St. Andrew's Scout Group comprises 4 sections, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Each section meets one evening a week during school term times, with a number of weekend activities throughout the year, either for a few hours or for the whole weekend; camps for example. During these times the youngsters, boys and girls, work towards achieving badges for a diverse number of activities.

The activities of this charity are at present principally concerned with the care, maintenance and development of buildings and property owned by the Blackdown Hills Mission which are used for extensive regular Christian and social activities among young and elderly people in addition to general religious purposes and services.

Fundraising to support Wincanton Community Hospital by running Fetes, Garden Parties, Dances, Charity Draw, Race Days, Easter Egg Hunt, and Xmas Fayres etc. The funds are used to provide support to patients at the Hospital along with improvements to equipment, buildings and facilities.

The objects of the CIO are the relief of poverty in Somerset and the surrounding area by providing grants to individuals in need and charities working to prevent or relieve poverty.

For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need in Bristol, and its surrounding suburbs, who may suffer the effect of homelessness by supplying them with, in particular but not exclusively by, food, clothing and related support. To provide assistance and advice to like-minded charitable groups, not limited by geography.
