Drawing in, encouraging and developing local people of all backgrounds and experiences in singing for pleasure and fellowship, providing entertainment and appreciation of choral music locally, and supporting community events, as well as partnering local charities and good causes, and encouraging young musicians. Glastonbury & Street Sea Cadets are a Charity Youth Organisation aimed at giving young people between the ages of 10 to 18 years old, the best possible head start in life through a wide range of fun and challenging nautical adventures, such as power boating, tall ship sailing, windsurfing, rowing, dinghy sailing and canoeing.

Through the Rotary Club funds are raised by fund raising and social events. Those funds, in certain circumstances can be "multplied" via the Rotary Matching Grants at District, National and International level to fund larger project, particularly to assist in poorer countries. In addition assistance can be offered in practical waysby Rotarians employing their business skills to help others.

Providing education and support to cat owners to promote responsible ownership. Assisting cat owners in times of crisis to alleviate pressures by providing temporary care for their pets.

YEAST scrapstore is a project that will offer children and young people the opportunity to develop their creativity, through the use of recycled materials. Also we will offer adults training in how to use the resources that we supply.

Friends of Brookside - Street raises money in order to fund classroom and playground resources. It also organises events to celebrate the children's progress and encourage families to become part of the school community. We are currently raising funds for new playground equipment.
