As the PTA of a small village school we now received charity status which will enable us to increase our fundraising activities. Our activities include cake sales, movie nights, Christmas & Summer Fairs, Easter egg hunt, school discos & the offer of swimming lessons. The money goes towards new equipment & books, towards fun events like theatre visits, ice cream vans etc.

The charity awards bursaries to students at Queen's College who are in need of financial assistance, bursaries to students to meet the cost of co-curricular activities at Queen's College and finances in whole or in part capital projects to improve the educational facilities at Queen's College.

Wivey Cares, operates in the Wiveliscombe and the Ten Parish area of Somerset.We aim to connect those in need of claiming their benefits, care, assistance, companionship, provision of food or friendship with local volunteers, or paid MicroProviders.These connections are overseen by our co-ordinator, who liaises with local referral agencies such as the local doctor's surgery and Village agent.

We are an exotic animal rescue. We provide a safe haven for unwanted or abandoned animals. Where possible we rehome through thorough checks and provide on-going support once rehomed. Somer Valley Tennis is open to all and its aim is to make tennis accessible to all members of our community. We are a non profit making charity and are committed to running our club in a fair and equitable way. Collectively we take responsibility for all our members and endeavour to ensure a safe and fair playing environment where no one is discriminated against.
