Panache Steel Band is based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. Panache started in 1994 at The Castle School, Thornbury, and has since become community based. As well as the main performing band, who performs both publically and privately, we run a variety of community-based steel band groups for different ages, as well as one-off workshops at local schools and other organisations.

Chesil Sailability is dedicated to helping disabled people of all ages to experience sailing, most in specially adapted boats, and to helping them go as far in the sport as their enthusiasm and ability takes them. We are based at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy and most of our sailors & volunteers live in South Dorset, but we aim to exclude no one who wants to take part!

PROVIDING RELIEF FOR THE SICK POOR RESIDING WITHIN A RADIUS OF 5 MILES OF ST.MARY'S CHURCH TAUNTON

We are a non-auditioning choir of around 140 adults from Sherborne and the surrounding area. We give one major annual performance in Sherborne Abbey as part of Sherborne Abbey Festival and also hold open workshops during the year.

We organise a number of events supported by pupils, parents, families and friends to raise money primarily to purchase/improve school equipment. Events such as discos, fun days, bingo, quizzes, cake sales

Fivehead Village Hall is a community resource providing indoor and outdoor recreational space for the village and surrounding communities.

The charity operates 'The Angel community centre and 'All Saints Hall' in Langport. The Angel provides a volunteer led variety of social, welfare, hobbies and activities for community support, particularly those not supported by mainstream services elsewhere. All Saints Hall is available for hire by local groups, organisations and individuals.

The PTA raise funds by such activities as School Discos, Summer Fayres, Christmas Fayres, Book Sales, Summer BBQ and Play for Pounds.This year the funds raised paid for book bags for all Reception pupils; leavers books for Year 6 pupils; a Christmas lunch for all pupils; a leavers celebration for the Year 6 leavers and their families and outdoor equipment.

The U3A movement encourages its members to share their knowledge and talents freely with each other in informal learning interest groups. This self-help model empowers members to create their own opportunities to learn in the ways that suit members best. Members contribute to a wide range of engaging and stimulating interest groups in an atmosphere of mutual support and companionship.

Training and educating people of all ages and abilities from 8 years upwards to play brass musical instruments and perform a wide range of music for public benefit in and around Wells.

TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS EDUCATED AT KING'S COLLEGE TAUNTON AND/OR THEIR SPOUSES,WIDOWS,WIDOWERS OR DEPENDENT CHILDREN

We manage and maintain the Village Hall in the Parish of Otterhampton for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish and surrounding area. Providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals, who have need of such facilities, or for the Public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.

Religious activities and accomodation

Through the Rotary Club funds are raised by fund raising and social events. Those funds, in certain circumstances can be "multplied" via the Rotary Matching Grants at District, National and International level to fund larger project, particularly to assist in poorer countries. In addition assistance can be offered in practical waysby Rotarians employing their business skills to help others.

The charity provides a centre in the Bristol area for members of the public to learn and practice Zen meditation and to study the teaching and practice of Soto Zen Buddhism.

Fundraising via winter supper, ball, bike trial, swimming pool donations, cake sales, bingo, street fair, commission sales, tombolas, gift aid and other ad hoc events.
