The charity exists to provide live orchestral music to the community. We hold 3 or 4 symphony concerts each year. Soloists are often young people who live, or used to go to school, in our area. Adults & students play in the orchestra.

The PTA raise funds by such activities as School Discos, Summer Fayres, Christmas Fayres, Book Sales, Summer BBQ and Play for Pounds.This year the funds raised paid for book bags for all Reception pupils; leavers books for Year 6 pupils; a Christmas lunch for all pupils; a leavers celebration for the Year 6 leavers and their families and outdoor equipment.

The Crowcombe Hall provides a building and open space for local people to participate in recreational and leisure activities and to hold functions. The hall is available for hire and has rooms to accomodate small and large groups. There is a well equipped kitchen and changing facilities for sports' teams.

1st Wellington Scout Groups is a large vibrant Scout Group with a strong sense of family and community who, through its wide adventurous and culturally rich programme helps the development of the young people of Wellington and its surrounding villages.

The hall is the gift of Rev G Mullins. The management team are local volunteers. The facilities for hirers include kitchen & catering equipment, tables & chairs, electric heating is installed, disabled accessible, the hall fronts a grassed field for outdoor events or marquee, or parking of cars, available for private hire, weekly events, keep fit classes, meetings, social events.

Raise money to provide facilities and equipment for Minehead Hospital and the Community
