THE SOCIETY MEETS AND PRACTICES FROM SEPTEMBER TO MAY, PUTTING ON TWO CONCERTS EACH YEAR. ONE CONCERT IS IN EARLY DECEMBER AND THE OTHER IS IN MAY.

Running the village hall for the benefit of the village and surrounding population,

The Bayford Mission Hall Society was established to procure the Mission Hall from the Church of England, to renovate and refurbish the building and then maintain it as a community facility for the Parish of Stoke Trister and Bayford.

The charity was set up to help conserve and maintain the general fabric and way of life of the mediaeval village of Dunster. It does this by supporting, financially, enhancment schemes and particular organisations and bodies in the wider parish which promote the well-being of the village and its residents. We are, also, represented on the Dunster Working Group,.

provision of sport, play and community facilities in the village of Babcary, Somerset

The charity manages the Hamdon Youth & Family Centre in West Street, Stoke sub Hamdon in South Somerset. The Centre was purchased by the parish council for the village, and provides two halls for hire for any youth activities run by local youth organisations in Stoke sub Hamdon and its neighbourhood. The charity is an autonomous service-user led charity.

Working to support the education and welfare of students of International School Moshi, Tanzania.

We provide horse drawn carriage drives to people of all ages living with a disability. Drives can be solely for pleasure or the driver can be taught about horses, the harness and carriages and how to drive themselves. The charity is reliant on volunteers only with no paid staff.

A social weekly gathering of people of pension age who enjoy quizzes, talks, outings, entertainment etc.

We are based in Cheddar and the surrounding area. Through various fund raising activities we raise funds which are used to provide social activities for senior citizens and for supporting local youth activities.
