SOWRA aims to advance the standards and raise awareness of regional anaesthesia and pain management amongst the general public and medical profession. SOWRA provides a forum for networking for health professionals, provides training and educational activities and supports clinical and basic science research in the field of regional anaesthesia and pain management through research grants.

The objective of Castle Cary Choir is to: advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.We operate in Castle Cary, Somerset, and hold rehearsals on a weekly basis, with a number of concerts, performed in the local area.

TO RAISE FUNDS AND SUPPORT THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, AND IMPROVEMENT OF ST GILES CHURCH AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. TO MAKE THE CHURCH MORE ACCESSIBLE TO THE WIDER COMMUNITY THROUGH PROVISION OF COMMUNUITY FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES, SOCIAL WELFARE SUPPORT AND THROUGH HERITAGE EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS.

Provide village hall and facilities for letting to individuals and organisations in the locality.

The Village Hall is held for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Thurloxton without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

1) Operate and maintain Stocklinch Village Hall2) Support the upkeep and repair of the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and the grounds of St Mary Magdalen church, Stocklinch3) Raise funds to finance the above by holding events and activities.

General charitable purposes.

Provision of village hall and function equipment for community groups and local individuals for leisure and education and entertainment purposes.

Running village almshouses

Promote high standards of planning and architecture in or around the City of Wells. Promote civic pride. Hold meetings and lectures.

Wellington Community Centre was built as a club in 1908 and given to the people of Wellington "to be used to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Wellington"

Under the umbrella of Girl Guiding UK.Providing activities for girls such as craft, archery, life skills etc.

Programme of three natural therapies - nutrition, massage and imagery for an average of three sessions for optimum/successful results. Children aged 2-22 suffering any condition or symptoms. Families attend from the south west. Also provides resources, talks and training.

Running a Christian Ministry

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare for all disabled persons resident in the District of Mendip in the County of Somerset and in adjoining Districts in the Counties of Somerset, Avon and Wiltshire with the object of improving their conditions of life.The main focus is swimming.

Advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Crewkerne and surrounding district.

Support for the villagers through - raising funds for the village through a Biennial fete and running a 100 club and other social events to allow the promotion of an annual firework display, annual Easter egg hunt, Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner, monthly walks and talks, 2 village Christmas trees, donations to local groups - including our school and maintainence of the village common.

Financial support for the Rector and Churchwardens of South Petherton Church to assist in the maintenence and improvement of the fabric of the church.

The Lions Club of Chipping Sodbury will consider many projects that fall within the following five guidelines, these are Vision, the Environment, Hunger, Paediatric Cancer and Diabetes. As well as providing grants to other deserving causes within the local area

Enhancement of school facilities with regard to education of children attending the school

Such charitable objects or charitable purposes within the borough of Yeovil or within five mile radius of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Yeovil as the Trustees in thier own control and discretion shall think fit.
