The aim of the Guild is to promote, educate and improve the crafts of hand-spinning and weaving. To these ends we hold regular monthly meetings for lectures and discussions, we also hold exhibitions of work, workshops, arrange demonstrations and organise and support courses. Membership is open to all and experience is not necessary

Maintenance of the village hall

The object of the Charity is to establish and run a Village Hall and playing field for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Meare.

To assist the patients of the Bath Eye Unit and generally to support the charitable work of the Bath Eye Unit

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:Developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Provision of meeting place for individuals and organisations in the village of Ash.

Provides grants for young people between ages 16 and 25 who were born in or who live in the parish of evercreech

Various fundraising activities based around our school in order to purchase resources to improve life around school.

The object of the association is to advance Christian religion and in particular to assist in the preservation for the benefit of the general public the Church of St. Andrew in the parish of Cheddar in the County of Somerset as an ancient building of beauty and historic interest.

We are a group of people who have worked or are working at senior level in various organisations and businesses. We raise money for local and overseas charity work, some of which is linked to the international Rotary Foundation. We also provide practical help to children, through schools and vulnerable people.

For the public benefit to maintain and preserve the fabric of St John the Baptist Church, Glastonbury both inside and out.

Church Meetings and Social Activities.

The Band's activities are to educate members and prospective musicians of all ages in the skills, art and science of music; to provide a stable organisation for brass band and percussion music making and tuition in the area of Wiveliscombe; to provide members with instruments and equipment, which remain the property of the Band; to be open to all musicians and and learners.

Motorcycle Group member of Institute of Advanced Motorists, aim to promote road safety by riding/driving to a high standard.

PROVIDES VILLAGE HALL FOR HIRE TO ALL GROUPS IN BREWHAM AND SURROUNDING AREA

The charity manages the Hamdon Youth & Family Centre in West Street, Stoke sub Hamdon in South Somerset. The Centre was purchased by the parish council for the village, and provides two halls for hire for any youth activities run by local youth organisations in Stoke sub Hamdon and its neighbourhood. The charity is an autonomous service-user led charity.

To provide assistance & relief from poverty for elderly residents of the city of Bath.
