Organising early music activities for amateur musicians throughout the south west region.

The AHCF aims to relieve financial hardship and improve the education of children and young people suffering from any form of poverty, illness or disability, in the UK and abroad. We give small grants and keep overheads to minimum. We raise money anyway by anyone. e.g. sewing educational displays. Stewarding volunteers at Glastonbury Festival make a great contribution to our funds.

To manage and maintain Kingsdon Village Hall for use of the inhabitants of Kingsdon and the neighbourhood for cultural and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

This charity provides the facilities of the village hall and playing field for recreation and leisure activities of the inhabitants of the Parish of Huish Champflower and the surrounding areas.

We rescue small/medium dogs from shelters in Romania, where they are neglected, tortured, abused or even brutally killed. We pay for the dogs to be tested, spayed and prepped for travel (passport, vaccinations, microchip) and we pay for their transport to our rescue centre near Tiverton, Devon. They are assessed and then rehomed, mainly in the South West.

Southern Union Chorus promotes and encourages the singing of four-part male-voice harmony in the Barbershop style. We aim to advance, improve, devlop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of the art of Barbershop singing. Income from public Sing-Outs provides donations to deserving Charities. We run annually a free 'Learn to Sing" course open to male members of the general public.

For the benefit of the public to maintain, repair, restore, preserve, improve and enhance the fabric of the church of St. George located in the village of Hinton St. George in the county of Somerset, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.

We are a PTFA made up of parents, teaching staff and friends raising funds for our local primary school. We run fundraising events to help purchase items to benefit the current and future children of the school. The activities that we run are held on the school grounds or within the local community.

The Trust has continued to develop its activities with the main feature being the development of our series of stockmanship and veterinary courses. With courses in both continuing to be funded through out the year.

The charity provides a small income for pensioners in need who have lived in Porlock, Somerset for over five years.At this time there are 12 pensioners being assisted by the charity.
