Chilton Polden Hall CIO provides a facility which will enable people living in the area to take part in community recreational, social, cultural and other events. Examples: village lunches, coffee mornings, monthly market, general talks, quiz evenings and games, venue for adult/children's celebrations, church meetings, Parish Council meetings, youth meetings and general hire to other groups

To further the purposes of the Women's Institute in Somerset and elsewhere

Fundraising activities for the children of Crowcombe and Stogumber Schools.

Maintain and improve the environment of the axe, yarty and lim catchments, specifically the landscape, wildlife and buildings, in a sustainable manner. To provide volunteers to undertake practical tasks. To monitor planning and development proposals in the area and to respond appropriately.

The charity applies only to five small rural parishes in Somerset, Marston-Magna, Ashington, Rimpton, Chilton Cantelo and Limington. Funds are concentrated on bursaries to help pay for individual childrens instrumental music tuition. Support is also offered for individual development in dance, drama and art.

We organise rides so that disabled people, young and old, have the opportunity to ride ponies/horses which benefit their health and well being. This all takes place in the Chard, Somerset area.

Fund raising activities include sponsored events, bingo, Grand draw and fetes etc

The object of the Club is to help young people, especially, but not exclusively through leisure time activities, so as to develop their physical, mental and spirtual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.

The Hannah More Trust raises money to support the production of a digital edition of Hannah More and surviving letters and to promote work on Hannah More her life and her writing.

To promote & protect the physical & mental health of sufferers of Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorders & their families in the UK and Ireland by the provision of grants and/or equipment, support & practical advice.To advance the education of the public by supporting research into Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorders & disseminating the useful results for the public benefit.

The charity raises money to advance Christian religion through the restoration, repair and upkeep of the fabric of All Saints Parish Church, Martock and the churchyard and contents including monuments, ornaments, furnishings, bells, organ, windows and other embellishments and equipment of the church as an ancient building of beauty, historic and architectural interest.

To enhance the preservation, conservation and protection of Yeovil Country Park. Helping to improve the facilities, increase public awareness/attendance and work with the local authority and other organisations to achieve these objectives. Promote events for educational purposes, pleasure, engaging with the general public to experience the benefits of the natural environment.

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Dalwood district in Devon and surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare.

The main facility provided is a village hall - so that activities by groups of persons can congregate for social, educational, physical and religious bodies meeting place.

We endeavor to provide further education on a voluntary basis for our members who are in the 'third age' and no longer in full time employment.

Young People Frome coordinates a variety of youth led projects. Initiatives have included the establishment of a youth cafe, projects addressing youth unemployment, multi media projects, antiracism projects in schools and within the community, leisure based activities for children including an annual Children's festival. Much of our work is with disadvantaged young people and their families.

Maintenance of the Children's play area and sports field, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish, without distinction of political, religious or other opinion. Other activities include: the provision, or assistance towards the provision of recreation and other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the condition of life for the inhabitants.

SCHOOL DISCO, SUMMER FETE

East Quantoxhead Village hall provides the only social centre in E.Q, a rural village in West Somerset. The hall committee raise funds to provide a place where residents from the local area are able to meet and avoid the social isolation that can be prevalent in rural communities. Craft, Yoga, live music and charity events, bingo,quiz evenings, and a popular monthly market and cafe take place.

The object of the charity is to advance the education of pupils in the school by working with staff, parents and the local community to put on a range of events and activities at the school and around the local area to help build the school community and raise funds for the purchase of equipment or to fund events within the school that might not otherwise have been funded.
