The running of a museum relating to the town of Wells and the Mendip Hills

We have been helping people who live with a neurological condition since 1985 providing the therapies and support our members need to maintain their independence and to minimise the effects that neurological conditions like Multiple Sclerosis have on their daily lives. We are also here for their families and carers, building a strong sense of community and understanding.

Advancing the mission of God in the South West Peninsula District by providing churches and circuits with strategic resources, finance, personnel and expertise, and by supporting them in the deployment and oversight of the various ministries of the church, in programmes of training, and by providing opportunities for them to work together and support each other.

To improve the care for Cancer patients being treated at the Oncology, Breast Cancer,Urology and Radiotherapy Units at The Royal United Hospital Bath and other health units in Bath and surrounding areas in North East Somerset, West and North Wiltshire. Supporting a population of over 500,000 people.

Escapeline provides education programmes to children & young people, aged 10-18 years, raising awareness of child exploitation and grooming, teaching them what to look out for & protective strategies. We provide training to professionals in education, health, social care & police on child exploitation. We also offer parents awareness workshops, 1-1 parent support services and 2-1 youth work.

Provision of Nursery services for children aged 6months- 5years.

This has been a year of less overt activity after 5 years of intense fundraising. Significant assistance has been provided to several girl choristers enabling them to remain in the choir. With the consent of The Chairty Commission, the objects of the Trust have been amended so that it can now support both boy and girl choristers. From 1st August 2011 it is The Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust.

The charity aims to provide a public working museum celebrating the history of the woollen textile industry for the advancement of public education, to preserve Coldharbour Mill as a building of historic and architectural value for public benefit, and to continue textile production.

The object of the Company is to provide a Community Transport service for such of the inhabitants of West Somerset and surrounding areas who are in need of this service because of age, sickness, deprivation, disadvantage or disability (mental or physical), or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Providing facilities for and promoting the interests of disabled and disadvantaged persons generally from within Taunton Deane. THis provision includes supported housing, community access scheme, day care for elderly, physically disabled and people with learning and mental health problems, catering, childcare, and social activities and training at The Albemarle Centre Taunton

Provision of therapeutic riding lessons to around 300 disabled children and adults in one of the UK's largest equestrian centres purpose built for disabled riders. Set among 100 acres of fields and woodland, the Centre offers individual development, enabling clients to achieve skill and confidence in a safe, friendly and attractive environment.

This Charity is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of 8 Methodist Churches and 2 Church Manses This covers the area of Crewkerne, South Petherton and Chard. It must also ensure that funds are available for the stipends for 2 Ministers and a varying number supernumary ministers. It also provides support for various Methodist Charities.

Complete childcare service from 7.30am - 6pm five days per week allowing parents to return to work.

The Great Commission Ministry's main goal is to spread the gospel and see believers grow in faith. We provide opportunities for basic training to help people be in touch with modern tecnology, and encourage members to use their natural gifts whether it be in music, dance, or drama.

ELF aims to lighten the load by supporting families affected by blood cancers and blood disorders across the South West.ELF provides transport, a counselling service, accommodation, complementary therapies, a CAB-funded advice and guidance service, legal services through partnership and refreshments for patients and relatives awaiting day case appointments.
