52 Lives changes someone's life every week of the year and inspires people to be kind. People nominate someone in need and every week we choose someone to help, share their story and provide what they need. We also run extra projects to help larger numbers of people. In addition, we provide Kindness Workshops for schools which empower children to create positive change and improve their wellbeing.

There are millions of bikes lying rusting in garages or being thrown away in the UK. Meanwhile, in the Africa, a 4-hour daily walk is common (water, school, farm, market). Re~Cycle collects second hand bikes & parts & ships them to Africa, where partners teach local people how to repair & maintain them, helping them to improve their own lives in a sustainable manner.

The objective of the Society is to advance the arts, sciences and technology of precision engineering, micro engineering and nanotechnology; to promote its dissemination through education and training, and to promote its use by science and industry.

Grant making charity, promoting and funding medical research projects through the provision of grants to young medical researchers seeking by their research to prevent disease or disability or to heal or relieve the effects of disease or disability.

To;- promote charitable giving through Card Aid and the Good Gifts Catalogue- provide opportunities to help others through volunteering (Knit for Peace - knitting for those in need at home and abroad)- provide advice and practical help to charities to enable them to be more effective. - create and fund income generating activities which provide employment and are sustainable.

To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public, in particular through maintaining St Mary's Convent Wantage and sustaining the religious community there, and promoting the religious life generally; for public benefit, to support education through projects with an Anglican character or an Anglican partner; to assist and support projects for vulnerable women suffering from illness.

We work with street children (or former street children) in order to improve their quality of life. We will engage in campaigns throughout the UK, South Africa and Mozambique to change the rights of street children and the way in which society perceives street children. This will be achieved through advocacy, marketing and consultation work with other NGOs/ governmental organisations.

Fundraising and distribution to charitable programmes

We work with expert conservationists to create and expand Rhino Strongholds; ecosystems where sustainable populations of rhino and other critically endangered wildlife can thrive. By protecting the rhino and conserving their natural habitat we are securing rich biodiverse environments for the long-term and helping local communities to benefit and prosper from their natural heritage

The IEF champions the egg, specialising in our core area of expertise ? egg production. Through our work we want to showcase what can be achieved through the power of the egg. We want to work with other major organisations and foundations, adding value to existing and proposed projects, to increase the availability and intake of high quality protein in developing regions.

The primary aims of the Charity are to fulfill the roles of a Christian church in the Biggin Hill area and to provide help to others in promoting the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and overseas.

The Foundation is committed to supporting development initiatives directed towards the global and local community. Specifically, the Foundation works to empower youth to create a greener and fairer future. The Foundation welcomes applications from organisations associated with the following areas: economic opportunity, mental health, sexual and repreoductive health and youth agency

The Foundation supported many loneliness projects during the year, it also gave grants to small UK charitiesDuring the year, volunteers carried out a variety of fundraising events and donations were made to The Mears Foundation. These events included sponsored walks, bucket collections, bake sales and auctions/raffles.

Construction of educational spaces in underprivileged communities, focused on music, creativity and entrepreneurship. Facilitation of 6 months educational programmes in Cape Town focusing on music, entrepreneurial and life skills. Workshops with international artists in underprivileged communities in South Africa.Education grants / scholarships for underprivileged artists.

The Charity has been established to:1. Advance the education of young persons of all faiths in such ways as the Trustees think fit, with particular regard to those who are economically or socially disadvantaged, whether in the UK or elsewhere in the world; and/or2. Pursue such other charitable purposes consistent with the above as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall determine.

The Bitou Trust is dedicated to assisting disadvantaged communities and advancing sustainable development and conservation within the Bitou region of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Situated in the heart of the UNESCO Garden Route Biosphere Reserve, the Bitou municipal area covers 992 square kms within one of the most diverse biodiversity hot spots on the planet.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN AFRICA BY THE PROVISION OF BOOKS, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND SCHOLARSHIPS OR AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE

Starfish provides crisis intervention and holistic care services for children made vulnerable and orphaned by HIV/AIDS in southern Africa. We also provide training for local partners and volunteer caregivers to enable them to deliver better quality care to more children.
