Spirit of Africa fund raises to support children in South Africa who are without a home or suitable carer. We support a project called Ithembalihle. We provide the finance to house, feed and educate the children at this project. In 2013, in association with GAGA charity we built a pre-school on this site. Since March 2022 the S.Africa Gov. registered and provides all funding for the Pre-school.

Giving grants to Project Gateway in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa for education, food and clothing for vulnerable young people, support for abused women and their children and training/materials for empowerment programmes.

The Li Tim Oi Foundation provides grants for Anglican women in the two-thirds world to train for Christian work in their own countries.

The Fund provides money to pay the salaries of nine teachers and a cook at the Rainbow School at the J L Zwane Centre in Guguletu, Western Cape. It also pays for about half of an administrator's salary and for a small amount of other overheads. The Rainbow School provides after school teaching and homework facilities to augment the effectiveness of the existing nearby primary schools.

The Charity continues to support former professional cricketers (or their dependents) who are 'in necessitous circumstances'.This can take the form of regular monthly contributions, special payments at Christmas or in mid-summer, or by helping where there is a particular or urgent need (provision of medical assistance or treatment, special equipment etc) , and in other similar circumstances.

The Trust supports causes both in the UK and abroad, specifically, but not limited to Dorset, where the founding family are based. The trustees wish the Trust to support disadvantaged children and young people and those individuals undergoing cancer treatment, encourage animal welfare, and promote community and social inclusion. The objects of the Foundation are to alleviate poverty, to advance education, to relieve sickness and to promote health and to preserve and protect the natural environment at home and abroad. As a grant making charity, the Constitution also provides for general charitable purposes for Public Benefit.
