We offer Early Years education to the children and families of Yate, Chipping Sodbury and the surrounding area. At Ridgewood Preschool our vision is to provide the highest quality care, whilst creating a nurturing and supportive community of children, parents, carers and highly skilled staff.

We provide pendant alarms(telecare) for disadvantaged elderly or disabled people living alone and at risk of falls. We also give grants for essential small works to aid independence and ensure security.

HCC provides facilities and services in the Hanham area enabling the inhabitants to have a place to meet, participate in social interaction through clubs, activities and events - such as Drama, Bingo, Cricket, Tennis, Short Mat Bowls, Snooker, Social Club, Art Classes, Retirement Club and many more. We also offer rooms for the private parties and functions, as well as public events.

Rainbow Teddies provides pre-school education for children from aged 2 and a half.

BWV is a powerful voice for women aiming to make women?s equality in Bristol a reality. We make sure that when key decisions are taken, their voices have been listened to and their concerns acted upon. We bring together women to share ideas, exchange experiences, support campaigns and celebrate success so that we can make Bristol a showcase for women?s involvement, empowerment and equality.

The church aims to introduce people to the love of God shown through Jesus Christ and to demonstrate that love in practical acts of kindness. We hold regular Sunday worship services and run midweek bible studies, a toddler group, youth groups, and outreach events; all these events are open to all. We also support charitable organisations which seek to advance the Christian faith and relieve need.

Lyde Green Community Association operates a community centre, and provides events and activities for the benefit and development of the local community.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing rugby union and other sports, to provide assistance in proviidng facilities for sport, recreation or ther leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities.

Based at the premises of Horfield and Bishopston Methodist Churches we:1) offer public acts of worship and other activities associated with practice of the Christian faith;2) conduct religious ceremonies such as the celebration of marriages or funerals;3) provide pastoral support and care.This is all in accordance with the doctrinal standards and discipline of the Methodist Church.

We strive to offer a safe, happy, caring and stimulating enviroment, in which the pre-school children from families in our local area, can develop their skills for the next step on the ladder of life.

Prime purpose of Society is the relief of financial hardship, sickness and ill health amongst elderly people in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and also the advancement of health, the relief of poverty and the advancement of education in this area

We arrange monthly lectures between September and April, with walks and field trips in the summer months. Members receive an annual journal and regular newsletters.
