Independent youth club proving recreation, sporting and extending aspirations

Rural setting playgroup offering 6 sessions per week for children aged 2 years to 4 years 11 months. The catchment area is about 4 miles and takes in the town of Thornbury and surrounding villages and hamlets. Some of the children feed into the local village school. We have many aims but the main one being to have FUN.

RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUED RESEARCHING AND WRITING OF THE VICTORIA COUNTY HISTORY FOR THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE (IE INCLUDING SOUTH GLOS)

Provision of equipment, training and ongoing financial support allowing doctors and other critical care trained clinicians to respond as volunteers when requested by the statutory ambulance service.

We support small charities working in Bristol, BANES and South Gloucestershire with a focus on pump priming the development of small charities and also helping with initial seed funding for larger appeals.We support charities working with disadvantaged children and young people, rehabilitation, severe poverty and homelessness, the elderly. We do not normally support large national charities.

The trust operates in the South West of England and provides spiritual support to the The Buddhist community via religious festivals and events held throughout the year and the provision of a permanent home or temple with resident monks where spiritual support can be provided.

To raise funds in our shop to support the work of small, local animal rescues. To promote neutering and general animal welfare, offer advice and assistance where needed.

PROMOTES INTEREST IN THE ANTIQUITIES OF BRISTOL AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND ENCOURAGES THE STUDY OF ARCHAEOLOGY BY HOLDING MEETINGS, PUBLISHING BOOKS, REPORTS AND PAPERS, PRINTING AND PUBLISHING ANCIENT RECORDS AND MANUSCRIPTS, MAINTAINING A LIBRARY, WHICH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND ADVOCATING AND ENCOURAGING THE PRESERVATION OF SITES AND BUILDINGS OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST

Provision of sports facilities (youth and adult participants) in Chipping Sodbury - golf, tennis, cricket, football, rugby. Also childrens play area and Millennium Garden for use of residents and visitors to the area.

The Trust is for the benefit of poor people who through ill health, disability or old age are unable to earn their own livelihood; for educational and training purposes; and for the benefit of hospitals, nursing and convalescent homes or similar objects for the advancement of health or saving of lives. Supports wildlife/conservation projects for the benefit of the local community.

Provision of search & rescue services to Avon & Somerset Police in Somerset and elsewhere

To further or benefit the residents of Staple Hill without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race, political, religious or other opinions by working together residents, local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education, provide facilities in the interests of social welfare with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

The YOU Foundation currently provides high quality and dynamic youth services for 11-25 year olds in Staple Hill and surrounding areas of Bristol, UK. These include junior and senior youth clubs, detached and outreach work, professional recording facilities, educational trips and residentials, and much much more!

The relief of children and young person's affected by the complex Autism Spectrum (with or without diagnosis) or with a development delay, by the provision of support, facilities and services for them and their families. This service is provided to families from Bath an North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire.

Community Association open for the benefit of the local people. All ages welcome.

Maintains a listed building and garden, hires the hall to various groups for the benifit of the community.

Based in Bristol, the CIO aims to advance education in the arts among adults with a learning disability through the provision of workshops, activities and events designed to support and empower them to explore their artistic potential, We create opportunities for them to share there work with the public through exhibitions and events.

- Promote the rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders; - Prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship among offenders and ex-offenders, in particular but not exclusively by, the provision of equipment and training in the arts; and - The provision of a mentoring programme, with the aim of helping offenders and ex-offenders to realise their creative talent.
