Avon Needs Trees is acquiring suitable land in the Bristol-Avon Catchment Area tocreate new, permanent forest through reforesting and rewilding. We aim to lock upcarbon, improve biodiversity, mitigate flooding through natural means and to createopportunities for the public to engage with nature. Our first purchase was 34 acres atHazeland near Calne, where we have planted over 10,000 trees.

WECIL works to enable disabled people to live life without barriers. We are a non-profit organisation run by and for disabled people, delivering information, skills, support and services to give disabled people the same level of choice and control as the wider community. Since 1995 we have worked to challenge restrictions and change possibilities for disabled people in the South West.

Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham Society provides Supported Sheltered Housing to older people (average age 88) in Bristol and South Gloucestershire

The primary objects for which the Association is established is to advance the arts for the public benefit through the promotion of Contemporary Art and the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of Contemporary Art.

The charity supports Cossham, Frenchay and Southmead Hospitals and the community within North Bristol NHS Trust. It exists to enchance the services for patients and to provide additional facilities for staff and funding for research, in addition to that which the Trust is normally able to provde.
