At Kinergy we understand how sexual abuse and rape can affect all areas of a person's life. Kinergy offers a specialist counselling service for survivors of sexual abuse and rape aged 18 years and over.

Focus Counselling is able to deliver a professional counselling service provided by qualified and skilled counsellors. It is able to offer support to adults and children suffering from depression, eating disorders, abuse, relationship problems, bereavement and a wide range of life crises.It is our aim to alleviate despair and suffering without religious, sexual or racial prejudice.

Anglican church serving the parish of Downend, Bristol, in the Dioceses of Bristol, providing Christian teaching and worship. Our membership reflects the variety of ages and backgrounds in the parish and includes an increasing number of young families and children.

We are a small pre school located in Patchway, Bristol and provide care and education for children aged 2 - 4 years old prior to them starting their Primary Education Journey. We offer a large range of activities on site including plenty of outdoor play in our large gardens. We also take the children on regular outings in the local community as well as further afield.

To recruit and train volunteers to provide a home visiting service to families in dificulty where there is a child under 5 years old

Our main service uses music to benefit people with dementia and their carers. People can access Music Therapy @ Home, Together in Song singing groups in care homes (led by trained volunteers), Music Therapy in care homes and Sing 2 Remember groups in the community and Mindset. We also provide programmes for people with chronic lung disease and other health conditions through Social Prescribing.

Lifeskills is a safety education Centre built as a realistic village. Its approach is interactive and bridges the gap that exists between knowledge and behaviour. It is designed to help people learn about safety in a fun and practical way, specifically in the home, on the road and during leisure time.

The Harbour provides a professional counselling and psychotherapy service to people affected by physical life-threatening illness. This includes adults who are ill themselves; carers and family members; and people recently bereaved due to illness. The therapy explores the impact of life-threatening illness and gives clients time to think about their fears and concerns.

For the public benefit, to set out to fill gaps delivered by other organisations to perceived isolated, unemployable and/or disabled people by offering and/or providing assistance to find employment. To enable and match low skilled people to meaningful activities and responsibilities which allow their individual growth in line with their individual capability to enable them to escape exclusion

Religious Services and Activies

The charity provides the equipment, facilities and personnel to enable disabled, underprivileged people in Bristol and adjoining post code areas, to participate in various forms of water sports and water recreational activities. It also provides the opportunity for the community in general to take part in water sport activity for the purpose of their health and welfare.

The majority of our staff and trustees are Deaf or hard of hearing themselves and we fully understand the impact of living with hearing loss. Resolve West is an independent, charity with over 37 years experience of providing confidential services to enable people to resolve conflict, and repair harm and for offenders to understand impact of actions and to have an opportunity to make amends. Our services are provided to residents across Avon & Somerset.

The association is made up of 4 sporting clubs providing activities in football & cricket for males and females. In addition other sporting groups who make regular use of the outside space include a local running group and a weekly 5K parkrun. The inside space is hired out to community groups for regular classes, to businesses for conferences and private hirers for functions and charity events.

VOICES provides a unique service based on survivor-led insights and expertise. Groups & individual support are available for victims of abuse. Where possible, support is offered to victims attending court or dealing with other agencies and services. VOICES liaises with other local DV services and also provides advocacy and training to professionals.

Changes Bristol is a mental health charity that is peer led and provides peer support groups and peer support networks for people who suffer mental distress throughout Bristol and the surrounding area. Our support meetings happen at the same time and place each week. We provide a number of interventions including our Steps to Recovery programme and other wellbeing workshops.

The Society assists needy elderly persons within the Bristol postcode area (BS, BA AND GL): it provides annuities, visits them regularly and makes Christmas gifts to each. The Society has also invested in the provision of sheltered living and day care accommodation for elderly people.
