AIMS TO BE OF SERVICE TO THE CHURCH IN THE DIOCESES OF DURHAM & NEWCASTLE BY:PROMOTING THE RINGING OF BELLS FOR CHRISTIAN WORSHIP AND ON OTHER APPROPRIATE OCCASIONS;RECRUITING AND TRAINING RINGERS;ENCOURAGING THE ART OF CHANGE-RINGING;HELPING RINGERS TO IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF THEIR RINGING; ANDASSISTING WITH THE CARE OF RESTORATION OF BELLS AND THEIR FITTINGS.

The Sutton Hall serves the residents of Cleadon by hosting many activities for all ages! We hold a Bright Futures Group for girls, coffee mornings and AGE UK join us for dancing. We host several clubs during the week including craft clubs who have a sale once a year to show off their creations and all the money goes to charity. We hold many fitness clubs and have much more planned for the future.

Durham Anglican Cursillo is afiliated to British Anglican Cursillo Council (BACC) and operates the Cursillo method within the diocese of Durham and Newcastle. Established church members are invited to attend Cursillo weekends at which they are encouraged to grow in the christian faith through prayer and study and action. After the weekend, participants are encouraged to join a reunion group.

Ability Sports and Social supports Adults with a wide Variety of Learning and Physical Disabilities by giving them access to a wide Variety of Sporting and Social Activities.

To facilitate and support the churches of the North east in their relationships with one another and their wider mission in the world. Based in Ponteland, Northumberland we are a choir of 30-40 members, and we sing a wide variety of music, from musical theatre to classical pieces. We perform two concerts a year and occasionally we are asked to perform at other events such as local charities and community groups in the Northumberland and Tyne and Wear areas.

Newcastle Male chorus is dedicated to upholding the great choral tradition of male voice singing in the North East, through the study and practice of choral music in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music by public performance. It supports other charities and voluntary groups in the region.
