We will rescue abandoned, lost and unwanted ferrets from within Sunderland and South Tyneside.We will rehabilitate and care for these ferrets until they are able to be rehomed.We will carry out activities to find new homes for the ferrets in rescue and provide backup support for thelifetime of the ferret.We will promote neutering of pet ferrets to reduce the number of unwanted litters.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants Of Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Northumberland and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for participating in the sports of football, boxing and boccia, and other sports capable of promoting health.

We are a local running and athletics club, based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear. We promote the sport of running and athletics and provide inclusive support to members and volunteers to improve their physical and mental wellbeing via amateur athletics and running development.

Life long learning in the third age of life. An organisation for the over 50's, no longer in employment, providing classes in a variety of subjects, lead by members for members. In addition there are monthly meeting with a guest speaker and occasional educational visits.

The society organises ten lectures each year on the decorative and fine arts. It has a church recorders group whose researches produce records of the fabric and contents of churches for presentation. Volunteers assist museums and other institutions with the cataloguing and maintenance of heritage property. The society makes grants to support arts projects in the community.

The Company members prepare scenery, lighting, costumes, administration for productions. Bi-annual European tours, ballets and musicals. Support to charities.

Sponsor integration of refugees and local communities through practical action and partnerships with statutory and other agencies.Encourage and support other Tyneside Community Sponsorship groups

Provide classes and training in Irish Dancing

To provide funds for the furtherance of rugby football union to those aged under 21

Funds as approved by the Trustees are used to support a PhD Student from the Institute of Cellular Medicine within the Newcastle University Medical School. The student is determined at the discretion of the Dean of Postgraduate Studies

Providing facilities for acts of worship, rites of passage, activities and events to support and encourage these regular activities; to provide accommodation for activities either as a service to the local community or organised by representatives from the local community for the benefit of the local community.

The principal activity is to provide holidays for needy children from the North East of England who would not otherwise have the opportunity of such a break.

Dunston Silver Band is a brass band based in Dunston in Gateshead, which performs in the Second Section in the North of England area. We rehearse twice-weekly and perform regularly at local events, concerts and contests. We also run a youth band, and through this offer free tuition, fun educational activities and use of instruments to any individual wishing to learn to play.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events.
