Tyne Rivers Trust has a unique role as guardian of the River Tyne Catchment, overseeing the continuing conservation and regeneration of the river from the impacts of its industrial past.The Trust provides education programmes and promotes understanding of the river to all ages, alongside the science-based, practical projects we develop and implement to improve the river system.

Journey supports adults with learning disability to develop life and work skills, and to maintain good health and well-being. Our services are delivered on our sites, through our community enterprises and in the wider community. The Charity's Staff work with Clients using person-centred and positive behavioural support (PBS) methods, enabling each Client to fulfil their potential.

To provide free and confidential information, advice, counselling and support services for young people, between the ages of 11 and 25.

We are a specialist provider supporting Carers and their families. Our objects are to relieve the stresses experienced by Carers and their beneficiaries. We improve the lives of Carers and Young Carers and enable Carers to continue to care.

WATBus has been established since 1998 and continues to provide minibus transport to community groups & individuals within Northumberland and throughout the North East of England. WATBike, our other organisation focuses on getting adults back onto bikes for their own health & wellbeing. Both parts of our charity, WATBus & WATBus work together to benefit people who use our service.

We provide support to children diagnosed with cancer, and their families, who are being treated at the Great North Children's Hospital. We fund research to find more effective, individualised treatments for childhood cancer.

Newcastle Law Centre was established in 1978 to promote access to legal justice and promote social justice and serve the needs of traditionally oppressed groups and those whose access to the legal system is restricted. The Law Centre seeks to achieve this by employing a variety of methods of work, including individual casework and advice work, training , and provision of meeting place facilities.

Philip Cussins House is a care home for the elderly Jewish community.

Provides for the recreational and academic needs of the special children of the Gateshead Jewish Community.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of cricket and other sports capable of improving health. Programmes are delivered along 5 activity pillars of health, education, social cohesion, cross roots sports and club development.

Heel & Toe Children's Charity provides therapy to children with Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities. Our highly experienced therapy service can provide assessments, block treatments or regular 1.1 sessions. Specific aims and outcomes will be discussed during assessment and goals set.

The provision of grants to fund research into rheumatology, cancer and the relief of arthritis. The provision of equipment or grants for equipment and / or caring services to assist with the relief of sickness caused by rheumatological problems, arthritis and / or cancer, such equipment or grants for equipment and / or caring services not normally being provided by the Local Health Authority.

To give free, independent information, advice and assistance to anyone living and/or working in South Tyneside. Advice is given on the full range of legal issues including Debt, Wefare Benefits, Housing, Employment, Consumer, Taxws, Immigration and Family.

The aims of Praxis are to promote and advance the social welfare and housing needs of people who are poor, suffering or recovering from mental health illness, alcoholism or chemical addictions, by providing advice, treatment and support through the provision of both community services and the develpoment and management of housing schemes intended to provide accommodation for homeless people.
