The Church provides religious services for public worship, including Spiritual Teaching, Philosophy and Healing together with special services, readings, functions and events throughout the year.

Supporting projects within school

Stanswood Beach Rescue is a charity that safes lives from the beaches at Stanswood Bay and Calshot spit. Providing Lifeguard, Rescue boat cover and first aid. Stanswood Beach Rescue is a training centre of excellence for lifeguarding.Working with the community, Stanswood Beach Rescue provides water safety education.

Observes, studies and records natural history in all its aspects in and around Southampton and promotes, organises and ecourages the education of the public in the study of, and advancement of, knowledge in natural history in all branches. Cooperates with national and county organisations promoting conservation. Holds field meetings, lectures and exhibitions.

Bitterne WI enables women to extend their interest in crafts. history,citizenship,music and drama. It provides a meeting place for women to socialise and to work to improve their community.As part of the wider organisation of WIs it takes part in aiming to influence national issues especially those affecting women and family life.

To promote and encourage the following aims:-a) To encourage high standards of architecture and town planningb) To stimulate public interest in the history of Southamptonc) To encourage preservation of features of historic interestd) To hold meetings, talks and visits in accordance with the above aimse) To publish articles, books etc in accordance with the above aims

Management of Glebe Copse, an area of land set aside as a nature reserve in Highfield, Southampton.

This charity aims to relieve the needs of people who have autism, ADHD and/or other related conditions or those awaiting diagnosis and their families in Hampshire and surrounding counties through providing finanicial assistance and practical support.

Burgess Road Library is a local library and community hub making available books, DVDs, ebooks, toys and other resources on a wide range of topics typical for a general library. There is a range of other activities throughout the week to bring the whole community together. Examples are a "Spanish cafe" and "Rhyme Time" for pre-school children.

Fundraising in support of school activities.

Trust income to be used for the relief of sickness and promotion of health for the patients at the Inpatient Unit at Western Community Hospital, William Macleod Way, Southampton.

Religious (Christian) activities - teaching and pastoral

We organise walks in the City, in particular in areas that may find themselves under threat from development and monitor planning applications that may affect our parks and open spaces. We issue two Newsletters and attend events in the City to promote our organisation.

Thornhill Community Library is run by volunteers to benefit the local community. TCL offers a full book borrowing and lending facility, public access computers and various drop in activities to promote learning and well being.

Upkeep of Almshouses - specific ones only.

- Capacity building through teacher support, training and retention- Information exchange and support between the UK and African schools- Provision of material to support learning in African schools- Provision of school support to children from poor families- Contributing to the maintenance of school buildings
