An amateur chamber orchestra providing public benefit through public performances of orchestral music in the communities of West London; providing performance and rehearsal opportunities to adult players; and educational workshops and concerts for children in the locality.

Trees for Bermondsey works with the community, Southwark council, the GLA and others to protect, replace and increase tree canopy across Bermondsey. We improve existing places for people and nature and create new green spaces for the benefit of all, raising awareness of ways to combat the effects of climate change through our actions and encouraging and supporting others to do the same.

The principal activities of the charity during the year under review is - the advancement of Christian religion in accordance with the teachings of the Holy bible, - the relief of persons who are in conditions of hardship or distress or aged, sick or disabled and - the promotion of fulfilment of such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community.

Provision of local study groups, support and enable study days and also monthly talks in a wide range of subjects

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by the making of recordings and other solely charitable objects as defined by the Charities Act 2006, or any subsequent act, as determined by the trustees of The Purcell Singers and delivered for the public benefit.

The band performs two or three formal concerts each year and a large number of open-air concerts in parks and other public places. It also encourages the work of new composers.

THE RELIEF OF POVERTYThe organisation relieves poverty by the provision of basic supplies, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH: We seek new adherents through Evangelism . OVERSEAS AID: The organisation will be working in Nigeria and Zimbabwe to relieve poverty by assisting families who are facing financial hardship

The Daniel Phelan Trust was set up in memory of Daniel Phelan. Specifically to promote good journalistic practice and to create educational pathways to encourage young people in South London to consider a career in journalism.We are currently engaged in promoting a writing competition for local schools and also designing an internship programme.

Provides facilities for training, education for parents and children on Sceaux Gardens Estate.Social events and programmes throughout the year for children and families. Advice and information on housing and related issues.

To further the education of registered nurses and midwives who are members of the Kings College Hospital Nurses League in furtherance of this object the trustees shall apply the net income of the trust in one or more of the following ways:- in awarding to such persons grants towards post registration education and attendance at the professional conferences and courses approved by the trustees.

Friends of Riverside Primary School (Southwark) is a Parent Teacher Association. We aim to advance the education of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Our broad aim is to make sure that Kelly Avenue Park and the surrounding area is a safe and happy place for the local resident. We aim to empower ourselves and other local resident to make a diffrence to their local community. We achieve this by hosting a monthly " working parties", Annual community fun day and workshops for the local children.
