The members of the charity have raised money in the year through donations, membership fees and fund raising activities to make donations to the Jaffna Family Convent School in Sri Lanka and to students in need.

ENGAGED IN PROVISION OF ARTIFICIAL LIMBS TO LIMBLESS PEOPLE IN SRILANKA IN ALL ETHNIC GROUPS.WE ALSO AIM TO PROVIDE REHABILITATION AND HOLISTIC CARE TO OUR CLIENTS.

Jaya Mental Health's strategy focuses on advancing the education of nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals in low and middle income countries, and ensuring the continuous professional development and expertise of these professionals, and of those individuals filling the gaps in communities where health services are limited or not available.

Providing facilities for the rehabilitation of children with learning difficulties residing within the limits of Vavuniya District, Sri Lanka, mobilise their full potential and maintain their self esteem. For this purpose a school is established and maintained under the name and style Puthuvalvu Poonga Training Centre for children with learning difficulties.

We set this charity up as a group of 18 students aiming to raise the funds needed to go out to Sri Lanka to help disadvantaged communities and people in need out there. Before the expedition we will be focussing on raising the money needed for the running of the charity and the aim of the charity to get out to Sri Lanka.

Setting up Academic Health Science Centres(AHSC) in SAMEO region to improve Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child health (RMNCH) care through education and training the HCSP (health care service providers) at global standard in collaboration with investors and education institutes in respective countries. At present main focus is marginalised community of Pakistan, Iran and UAE.

Selling loose leaf tea products at markets , online and direct to cafes. Raising much needed funds to improve the lives of some of the poorest children in the world, in particular by donations and grants to (a) help alleviate plight and (b) funding educational services and facilities provided to these children.

This year we donated life saving equipment to Castle Street maternity Hospital Colombo. Mainly a premature baby ventilator, Incubator and ten pulse oximeters. In addition we have been supplying dialising catheters and solutions to needy patients with Chronic Kidney disease.

The Charity is focused on improving the lives of farmers and rural communities in overseas areas and assists with the building of schools, education, housing, water and wellbeing.The Charity will also consider projects in the UK and abroad which improve the lives of local communities in relation to health, housing, education and wellbeing.

To help children in Sri Lanka who are disadvantaged by poverty and vulnerability, working in partnership with local NGOs to achieve sustainable development through encouraging self-help, self-reliance and empowerment.

Giving grants to Benedictine institutions and individuals in furtherance of our objectives

Relief of sickness on poor young and elderly people by setting up medical camps,providing financial assistance,andproviding financial assistance for poor children for their educational and living needs in Sri Lanka and India.Providing financial assistance to renovate the Saiva temples,schools and community centres which has been damaged by the recent civil war in Sri Lanka.

The advancement of education, relief of poverty and the preservation of health of people living in Sri Lanka, in particular children and young people, by the provision of funds and support to CAVALS and Footprints NGO's based in Sri Lanka.

Provision of donations, services, equipment or items to individuals, charities & organisations in need in the UK, Indian sub-continent or Africa, concerned with:a) Prevention or relief of poverty;b) Education of economically disadvantaged communities;c) Relief of sickness and preservation of health;d) Provision of nutritious food;e) Conservation of the environment;f) Relief of old age.

BUDS, initially formed as a communal group in 1986, became a registered charity in 2000. BUDS has a multifaceted mission providing education and foster care support to children, livelihood opportunities, supporting the elderly, low-cost housing initiatives, addressing malnutrition, and conducting drug awareness and prevention programs for the deprived community in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka.

The Charity works with Internally Displaced People (IDP) in SriLanka to provide long term sustainable means for living. It provides livelyhood to people who were affected by civil war and sets up educational programmes, starter businesses support, housing, agricultural support and homecraft support.

AOMUK raises funds by organising events and from donations by generous members and well-wishers. The Charity liaises with the Principal and staff of Marinda College, Galle, Sri Lanka about the needs to advance the education of the students in order to prioritise the donations from the association. The scholarships awarded are mean tested in order to ensure the most needful students are supported.

The promotion of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation within Sri Lanka.The charity has a 3 year plan to:* build a home for 40 disadvantaged children.* construct a community/education centre.* provide for the ongoing running costs for supporting the children.
