YALA FUND WORKS IN THE DISTRICT AROUND TISSAMAHARAMA IN SOUTH-EASTERN SRI LANKA. WE HELP WITH EDUCATION, HEALTH, LIVELIHOODS AND RELIEF OF POVERTY.

ADVRO provides funds for orphanages including few that look after disable children. It also funds for special classes for the underprivileged children who live in remote areas of Amparai district in Sri Lanka. ADVRO is planning to build an Elderly Care Home for the underprivileged at home. ADVRO carries out medical screening programs which provides advice on preventable deceases such as diabetes.

The SLF empowers vulnerable Sri Lankan communities through healthcare, education, & sustainable projects. Dedicated to humanitarian principles, it addresses social, economic, & environmental challenges, providing medical equipment, scholarships, & community initiatives like the Community Farm. Committed to lasting change, it builds partnerships & fosters innovation for a brighter future in SL.

The objects of the Charity are the relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in Sri Lanka. The Charity raises monies in the UK and elsewhere to forward to the Navajeevana Healthcare Centre in Colombo, which provides compassionate, Christ-centred healthcare to all, especially the poor and vulnerable, from all ethnic backgrounds.

Providing facilities for the rehabilitation of children with learning difficulties residing within the limits of Vavuniya District, Sri Lanka, mobilise their full potential and maintain their self esteem. For this purpose a school is established and maintained under the name and style Puthuvalvu Poonga Training Centre for children with learning difficulties.

Current activities of the society.1. Maintaenance of the public play ground at Kaluwanchkudy Sri Lanka for the use of the children there.2. Maintenace of the huts in the school run by the members of Kaluwanchkudy Welfare Association Kaluwanchikudy branch Kaluwanchikudy Sri Lanka3. Recently we have started an eye care project based at Kauwanchkudy Base Hospital, Kauwanchikudy Sri Lanka.

This year we donated life saving equipment to Castle Street maternity Hospital Colombo. Mainly a premature baby ventilator, Incubator and ten pulse oximeters. In addition we have been supplying dialising catheters and solutions to needy patients with Chronic Kidney disease.

DATUM is an international development charity based in London. Since 2009 it has worked across Asia and Africa to help children in the poorest areas of the world gain access to education, healthcare and clean water and safe sanitation.

WELL-BEING (SRI LANKA) invests in projects in the Wanni area of Sri Lanka to prevent and relieve poverty, and to develop skills in local communities. It raises funds through the UK charity and dispatches them to local partners in Sri Lanka to fund projects to construct and upgrade family wells to secure supplies of fresh water for irrigation purposes and to improve health and hygiene.

Prithi UK provides specific support to organisations in Sri Lanka that, in turn, support children and adults with disabilities. Prithi UK carries out a range of activities aimed at generating income and awareness with the intention of assisting organisations working with people with disabilities, specifically in Sri Lanka, where such groups are particularly disadvantaged.

The advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of the public, in accordance with the Rule of the Third Order, Society of Saint Francis (comprising The Principles; The Constitution; and the forms of Profession and Renewal), in particular but not exclusively by supporting the Third Order, Society of Saint Francis and making grants.

The members of the charity have raised money in the year through donations, membership fees and fund raising activities to make donations to the Jaffna Family Convent School in Sri Lanka and to students in need.

This charity has been inactive for a long time now, we are a new group with the president trying to reactivate the charity and enhance our charitable activities further. We are looking forward to refresh this charity works in line with our works carried out at the moment.
