The Relief of Poverty and the Advancement of Education of Disadvantaged Children and Adults.

ALALA provides clean sustainable water to communities in need and providing aid to orphaned children worldwise: - Our mission is to help communities worldwide who suffer from lack of water due to drought or unsanitised water. - To implement agriculture spaces using our water projects to allow communities to be self-sufficient. - To support orphaned children, as well as children in need.

Relieve poverty by providing food parcels to food banks in the UK, funding support to agricultural and small businesses in Sri Lanka, financial assistance to women in Sri Lanka to facilitae self-employment opportunities. Advance education by organising classes for children in war affected areas in Sri Lanka, support schools in Sri Lanka to enable them to hire more teaches and educational supplies.

The Sri Lankan Educational Foundation has been established to offer help with educational and other resources to students in a rural area of Sri Lanka, who may not have sufficient resources to continue their education. These will include help with their primary needs such as books, clothes and furniture .

The Trust continues its links with Providence Homes Orphanage in Mawatagama, Sri Lanka. There are now sponsors for 30 children, who each contribute up to £20 per month per child. A firm of external counsellors visits and advises all children yearly. Various kitchen goods were bought to replace old or broken goods. The children undertook a 2 day trip exploring Sri Lanka.
