Muslim Womens Centre runs activities for women, children & young people: leisure, health & education: taking into account cultural, religious and other barriers preventing them using other facilities. We organise trips & cultural events and provide a setting for ESOL & basic skills; we offer study support & advocacy over educational matters, youth activities & health and healthy-living activities.

Amateur musical society presenting musicals, revues and pantomimes for audiences in the local area. Always open to welcome new members from 16 years of ages. We fundraise from the public to help raise money for our charity.

SHDMGT has at its aims the advancement of the Christian faith for the benefit of the public through: a) the mission and ministry of the Church of England and its engagement with and service to the communities in the geographical area of St Helens deanery, b) the administration of the mission and growth fund subject to the terms of reference agreed by the St Helens deanery synod

Regular public worship open to all; pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved; teaching of christianity through sermons, courses and small groups; promoting the whole mission of the church through provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers, and other special-need groups; supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Education & training

The charity provides relief for children with life limiting illnesses principally in the North West of England and is mainly acheived by providing holidays of a lifetime for seriously ill children.

The advancement of the Christian Faith by working with other individuals and organisations.Relief of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or who are aged or sick.

Our work in local communities, on Merseyside, is directed towards those suffering poverty and social exclusion. Priority is given to adult educational work, community development and health-related initiatives.

Haydock Male Voice Choir is a 60+ strong choir which sings to entertain audiences; support charities in fund raising & for the individual pleasure and education of its members. It operates from St. Helens within a 25 mile radius, but also to other destinations within the UK as well as occasional trips abroad.

A community centre dedicated to enhancing the lives of the most vulnerable in our community. We provide activities, support, advocacy, guidance and learning opportunities.

We are a parent-teacher association that raises money to benefit the children and teachers in our school, providing teaching and learning resources, play equipment and contributing to the cost of educational visits and trips.

The Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists organises a series of educational meetings throughout the year. These include clinical and scientific lectures relevant to the field of anaesthesia, small symposia themed to a particular area of anaesthetic practice (inc. critical care and pain management topics), and a competition for trainee anaesthetists to encourage research in the field of anaesthesia.

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TOWARDS THE UPKEEP OF THE RAINFORD GUIDE HEADQUARTERS.TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR ORGANISED CAMPS/OUTINGS AND TRAINING FOR GUIDERS AND YOUNG LEADERS.

Football, Fitness and multi sports

THE CHARITY PROVIDES FINANCIAL OR OTHER ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 16 AND 25 WHO RESIDE IN THE COUNTIES OF MERSEYSIDE, LANCASHIRE OR CUMBRIA TO ENABLE THEM TO SECURE EDUCATION OR TRAINING WITH A VIEW TO GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT OR SELF-EMPLOYMENT.

The Group provides Scouting activities for beavers, cubs and scouts from the age of 6 to 14..

An Anglican Church providing a focus for Christian Worship, Ministry, Mission and Outreach. Involved in Pastoral Care, Teaching & Learning, and Social & Community Events.

The charity provides facilities for the benefit of the residents of the local area for religious, leisure time activities.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide grants to assist overseas students at higher education institutions, studying in the Diocese of Liverpool.

PROVIDE SCOUTING FOR AGES BETWEEN 6 AND 14 YEAR OLDS FOR MALE AND FEMALE, AND ALL RELIGIOUS BACKGROUNDS.

The Charity awards small pensions and grants, on a discretionary basis, to elderly people living in the Merseyside region who are in need, hardship or distress.
