The charity provides grants from time to time to Eccleston Lane Ends Primary School to assist in the purchase of equipment and educational items additional to those provided by the local Education Authority.

Seeks to enhance and preserve the history and surroundings of the township of Rainhill. Monitors planning applications. Also organises an annual gardening competition, and holds a programme of meetings throughout the winter season, open to all. New activities include an oral history project with sound recordings made by local people .Community-wide commemoration of local involvement in WW1

The Lets Go Stroke Club is a social club where stroke survivors, their families and friends can meet every month, to make new friends and support each other. Stroke can be a devastating condition and we aim to reach not only the sufferer but to engage with their families and carers to help them cope with the relentless stress of caring for their loved ones. We are totally run by volunteers.

We operate two nights a week, Tuesday night is bingo which the public can play. Wednesday night is members only. We play cards, dominoes and bingo. Throughout the year we have hot pot suppers, days out and jumble sales.

The charity's objects and principal activity is to help in the relief of families suffering from bereavement through the loss of a child during pregnancy in such ways as the trustees from time to time may think fit.

Our group promotes and preserves the tradition of brass band music combined with encouraging the development of youngsters both as musicians and good citizens. The band caters for children between the ages of 8-20, and currently has approx 85 members.

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation and preservation of the hedgehog species by:a. Providing first aid, treatment, and rehabilitation to sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs in St Helens and the surrounding area, with the aim of releasing such hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible;b. Providing education to the public to support hedgehogs in their everyday lives.

To relieve the suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide & maintain refugees, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception of care of unwanted animals and the treatment of sick or ill-treated animals.

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISION OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE SPORT OF JUDO, FOR PHYSICAL RECREATION TO ALL CHILDREN UNDER IN THE AREA

We raise money from various activities such as marshalling fun runs, having stalls at local carnivals, acting as Santa's and helpers at Christmas. We then spend all of the money raised in the community and on national and International appeals. We help individuals, local Charities and International causes and disasters
