We organise fund raising events within the school community to raise funds to benefit all pupils

The organisation provides a range of annual events that fall into one of the following three categories: Inclusive, engaging and fun activities for pupils; supporting activities and events that are run by the school; fundraising. Activities may fall under more than one of these categories. All monies raised are ploughed back into the school via requests from school staff.

To assist in the saving of human life in cases of shipwreck, fire and other dangers, in the North West.To recognize the actions of persons instrumental in saving, or attempting to save human life from danger, by the granting of medals, parchments and certificates.To encourage the teaching of techniques and methods of rescue and lifesaving on land, sea and in the air.

Violet-Graces Gift has been created in her loving memory to promote organ donation, help local hospitals, community projects, bereaved parents and seriously ill children

To help & educate young people through their leisure time activities so they can develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacity and grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

The Merseyside Holiday Service aims to help people on Merseyside who are in need of aholiday break but who are unable to afford the full cost themselves. Those that we assist are allon very low incomes and have families with young children who have been living and suffering under some exceptional difficulty or stress and who would benefit from a short break away from their homeenvironment.

Sutton Village Church is an Independent Methodist Church which provides weekly Christian centred services for all ages. Our Sunday Service is a time of sung worship and bible teaching, which runs alongside a Sunday School provision for younger members. During the week and throughout the year, we host a variety of activities and events for the benefit of the local community.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES FREE SPORT AND RECREATION FOR ALL WHO WISH TO PARTAKE. THE SPORTS INCLUDE RUGBY, FOOTBALL, CROWN GREEN BOWLING AND ANGLING. THE CHARITY HAS A BRASS BAND, THERE IS AN OVER FIFTIES CLUB WHICH HAS FREE USE OF THE PREMISES EVERY MONDAY AND THE CLUB PROVIDES BINGO ON FOUR DAYS OF THE WEEK.THE AGES OF PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITIES RANGE FROM 4YRS TO LATE EIGHTIES. COMMUNITY HUB

Raising Funds through raffles, shows, exhibitions to provide days out and excursions for children living in care.

As a local initiative of the Street Pastor movement, Saint Helens Street Pastors train and mobilize Christian volunteers from local churches to offer practical care and compassion to people in the night-time economy, particularly to people in vulnerable situations. We work in partnership with the police, local authority and voluntary organisations.

We are a chamber orchestra, run by volunteers and having charitable status. Employing professional musicians - often past players from major orchestras, or promising young players - we provide St. Helens and surrounds with regular orchestral concerts and recitals of classical music. We are financed by ticket sales, fund raising activities, private sponsorship, and grants of public money.

Support for education and research towards children's wellbeing led by the Children's Orthopaedic Department of Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Our charity and Italian language school offers courses for Italian children living and studying in the UK and for children of other nationalities approaching Italian as a foreign language. We also welcome young people and adults interested in studying the language. Our teaching spans from nursery-age children to students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams.

THE LESTER DRIVE CENTRE COMMITTEE PROVIDES HUMAN RESOURCES AND BUILDINGS FACILITIES FOR A WIDE RANGE OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES INCLUDING OLD PEOPLE'S BINGO (MONDAY AND THURSDAY), GARDENING CLUB, LECTURES AND CLASSES, LEARNING, PRE-SCHOOL GROUP, BRIDGE CLUBS, WEIGHT WATCHERS, BOARD GAMERS, FARMERS' WIVES, BABY MASSAGE/BONDING, FRENCH FOR TODDLERS & HIRES OUT THE HALL ON A ONE-OFF BASIS

We offer support for dogs living on the streets with homeless owners, dogs living in hostels with their owners, and dogs and owners who are accommodated with low level support. We provide dog food, dog coats, collars, leads, etc. But most importantly we provide free Vet care. We have Outreach Teams who take bags of items out to the dogs and owners, each week. We also provide Foster Care.

THE AIM IS TO ASSIST YOUNG WOMEN, OF NON-VOCATIONAL and VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, IN BUYING EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS, NEEDED TO HELP GAIN A QUALIFICATION AND ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE.

We hold regular meetings and workshops to further education and interest in lacemaking. We also demonstrate lacemaking to the general public when invited.
