Counselling and counselling training

We promote Christianity through public worship, provision for personal prayer, pastoral work, Christian teaching, involvement with local schools, and Christian youth work. Our mission in the community is promoted through events, meetings, and activities for all age groups and in the support of missionary charities.

WHISC is run by women for women to provide appropriate training, information and support, which addresses the needs of women within different communities in Liverpool who are disadvantaged in access to health care and education.

The object of the charity is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Newton le Willows, Earlestown and Burtonwood by the provision of facilities for playing football.

We aim to maintain Lancashire Boys and Girls Clubs as a direct delivery organisation through the continuance of a comprehensive programme of activities and projects for young people and provide practical support and advice to club staff, members and management committee trustees.

The object of the charity is the advancement of education and relief of poverty and hunger among needy human communities in any part of the world. Support was provided to local community and youth activities.

A local independent church with activities for church members and wider community including: parent & toddler group; counselling; Boys & Girls Brigades; Kids Church; youth club. Charitable work locally includes helping the homeless and vulnerable. Additionally the church supports initiatives abroad including orphanages in Uganda and India and aid projects in developing countries.

To relieve hardship, improve education, preserve good health, promote employment opportunities to provide and assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare and recreational activities in the community.

To benefit the local community in Moss Bank and the surrounding areas of St. Helens Borough, without distinction or prejudice, by promoting the health and development of adults, children and young people through safe, supervised and constructive opportunities.

We help people on low income towards the cost of their dogs, cats, rabbits and other smaller animals to be spayed or neutered, to reduce the great number of animals being "put to sleep", going to bad homes, etc. We also rescue, rehabilitate and rehome small animals. We are a contact for caring animal welfare groups. We are known as 'PUP' in UK.

Regular worship open to all, including space for private prayer. Pastoral work, and Christian teaching within the Parish, and schools. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities for Senior Citizens; parents and toddlers and other speciasl needs groups. Also supporting other charities overseas and in the UK.

Within the area of Newton-le-Willows, United Kingdom, through the actions of volunteers in the community, advance the amateur sport of association football, promote community participation in healthy recreation, provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation and other leisure time occupation, and advance the education of children and young people.

To restore and bring back into public service the steam tug/passenger tender "Daniel Adamson" built at Tranmere in 1903.

The Gateway Centre provides educational facilities, conferencing and access to ICT facilities to local and regional charities.We have office space and hotdesk facilities with admin support which is offered to local charity groups at significant discounts.Gateway also runs a coffee bar on the ground floor which provides hot and cold drinks and snacks for Centre users and members of the public.

Grants are awarded to voluntary groups throughout the North West, who provide sports, leisure and health orientated activities for young people. These groups include local sports clubs, scouts, youth clubs and children with special needs. We also provide grants for other charities involved with mountain recreational activities such as footpath repairs, mountain rescue and air ambulance.

Religious activities

LDAS provides services to ALL women & girls,16 plus, who have been subjected to domestic violence & abuse. We support women whether they intend to stay in the relationship, want help to leave or have left and still suffering the effects. We do this by providing trained specialist DA advocates, one to one support, counselling, group programmes, safety planning, housing, legal and welfare support.

The Storehouse Project is a registered charity now in its 15th year. At the heart of the Storehouse is our Christian values and this underpins all the work we carry out. We currently provide furniture, household items, food, toiletries and clothing to those most in need in our local area. We provide mentoring, pastoral support and much more.

The principal activity of the Charity is to celebrate the links between Liverpool and Ireland via the development of a permanent, annual event to highlight the significance of Irish traditions, music, literature, theatre and art in defining Liverpool's culture and status as a great European city.

Together Liverpool's aim is to support churches working with community groups wanting to tackle poverty, deprivation and disadvantage in their boroughs.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN MERSEYSIDE IN ALL THE PLASTIC, VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS AND LITERATURE AND TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE.WORK ON A DAILY BASIS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE TO ASSIST IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT AS ACTIVE CITIZENS.
