Wincle PTA aims to raise money for Wincle Primary School, Cheshire. It is made up of members from parents, teachers and local community. The money we have raised during this tax year is going towards the cost of trips, clubs and educational resources for Wincle School and Twincle Nursery .

The Charity, for the most part, raises and spends funds within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme. Funds are raised from the public in various ways and distributed by way of grants to deserving causes, mainly groups. The emphasis is on Special Needs, the elderly and Youth. Currently approximately 5% of our outgoings go to our International Funding.

The trustees maintain and repair the village well. In accordance with the terms of their appointment the trustees permit an annual Well Dressing Festival to take place. Surplus money goes to the work on the well and also to support local young people's organisations like the sunday schools, the girl guides, the brownies, the scouts and the cubs and others

To Provide volunteer 4x4 logistical support, primarily in times of adverse weather, to members of our community and our county emergency services 365 days a year.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all it's aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Choir through its committee shall determine from time to time. Fund raising and social activities arranged to the benefit of the children attending St. John's Primary school, Wetley Rocks.

The maintenance of the church building exterior and interior.Since its inception the Friends have had new heating installed. The kitchen and toilet areas have been improved including the disabled toilets. New exterior lighting has been fitted, doors and gates have been refurbished.Work has been finalised on the tower and roof renovation during 2010.

The object of the charity is to benefit the residents of Stonnall and Lynn and the surrounding neighbourhood without distinction of sex sexual orientation race or of political religious or other opinions by associating the said residents and the local authorities voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities (Stonnall Community Centre) to be us

'Our World' creates and presents a variety of Global Workshops and Children's Activities, principally to schools but also in the community, e.g. churches. These culturally-enriching resources have been produced from first-hand experience of other countries, and have been designed to invite children to explore the realities of daily life for many people who are living in poverty-stricken nations.

Hammerwich WI Hall is also available to other groups within the community for meetings and social and recreational activities.
