Scout Group

The aim of The Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, interlectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local community.

Provision of facilities for children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens from within the parish and the surrounding villages.

SCOUT ACTIVITIES

We provide accomodation for community clubs such as Brownies, Rainbow guides, Mother and toddler clubs, Karate classes, Childing Minding club, Knit and Natter group, School holiday group as well as one off party dates for local residents.

The women's institute provides support and education for women world wide.

To provide opportunities for social and sporting activities in the Stapenhill AreaWe provide varies activities for people of all ages including dance, sport, craft and many other things.

PROVISION OF VILLAGE HALL TO SERVE LOCAL COMMUNITY

1/ The provision and maintenance of a community access AED (automated external defibrillator) service in the village of Weston, Stafford.2/ Promoting awareness of and screening for cardiac risk within the local area.3/ Delivery of medical awareness and emergency first aid courses to the community.4/ Supporting other charities and organisations with donations towards AED fundraising campaigns

The maintenance and management of Salt Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of the parish of Salt & Enson and the surrounding neighbourhood . This includes promoting the hall for hire and organising fundraising events in order to meet the running costs of the hall.

The aims and objectives of the sea scout group are in accordance with the overall objectives of the international scouting organisation, namely to provide a safe environment in which young people can learn, develop useful skills enabling them to become socially competent and respectful of their own and other cultures whilst at the same time having fun and enjoyment from their pursuits.

Concerts of classical and contemporary music with orchestra or a cappella

The Lichfield Greenhill Bower Charitable Trust held its Trust Launch on 28th April 2015, in our first year we have given a grant to provide a younger children's slide to be placed for community use in the children's play area of the local park.
