Ashley YFC is part of the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, a rural youth Organisation for anyone aged between 10 and 28 years of age. The Club meet regularly in and around the Ashley District and organise a varied programme of events including sports, training, talks, discos and balls to name just a few!

Training and development of young people - Outdoor activities, ie camping abseiling etc., and life skills incorporated in badge work

Provides for decent and proper celebration of divine service in Christ Church Lichfield and for repairs, enlargement or improvement to the Church and Churchyard, for necessary repairs to certain tombstones and for distribution of any surplus to or for the benefit of the deserving poor in the parish

Fund raising for local Burntwood and district also national and international requsts

Scout group operating with five sections; squirrels, beavers, cubs, scouts & explorers.

Providing coaches for school trips to enable the school to request less money to be paid by parents. Improvements to IT Suite.

Conservation and promotion for educational and other purposes of an historic library relating to Staffordshire, with ongoing accessions and collection management

To maintain the Memorial Hall in good condition to enable its use by local people.

As a primary school PTA, we run events like bake sales, sponsored reads and quiz nights for the school and local community to raise additional funds for the school. These funds are put towards additional resources and equipment to enhance the learning and opportunities of the children at the school.

Summer Fair, Discos, Duck Race, Yellow Moon, Easy Fundraising, Parent Lottery

Our club provides the equipment, facilities and training so that disabled people of all ages may participate in the sport of wheelchair basketball.

Provides newspaper archives for research etc, other local archives, companies, industrial info, photographs (35000) and approx 1000 maps. We sell our own local history books (produced in house) to raise funds to operate, provide schools with local history information in classes. We provide a free entry reading room for visitors and other local groups.

Friends of Shenstone Tower is raising funds to repair and put into community use Shenstone's old church tower. We are doing this through grants and fund-raising from our local community. Once we have raised sufficient funds, we will repair the Tower. We will then open to the public and community use; and raise sufficient funds to ensure ongoing maintenance.

We currently have two fundraising projects. Our short term aim is to upgrade and refit our school library. Our long term aim is to refurbish and update our soft play area.

Supplying care and relief to sick and poor persons in the Leek area.

We aim to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing football and other sports to improve health and to provide facilities for sport, recreation and other leisure time occupation for people who have need of it because of their circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving lives.

The Parent Staff & Friends Association is run predominantly by parents and is supported by staff and friends of the school. The PSFA organise fundraising events throughout the year, including an Annual School Fun Day, live music events, school discos, etc

Scout Group The aim of the scout association is to promote the development of young people which we aim to do at Berryhill Scout Group which operates at Wendy Close Berryhill, by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the scout promise and law guided by adult leadership.

A small but committed team raising vital funds for the benefit of all the children in the school community. Regular events namely discos, a fashion show, fairs and Christmas projects take place annually.

Provides facility at St. Michael's Community Hall Lichfield Street Stone for the benefit of the inhabitants of St. Michael's Parish Stone.

The Charity receives grants during the year, from local support. On first FRIDAY in December distributes approx 900 vouchers to people in the Parish of State pensionable age, these exchanged in Kinver shops Gifts are taken to the same value to Kinver residents in Parish nursing homes to peopleWe also give advice and support and link people to local services.
