PROVISON OF A COMMUNITY FACILITY FOR ALL LOCAL GROUPS & ORGANISATIONS, INC., PRE SCHOOL, YOUTH GROUPS, ELDERLY AND GENERAL GROUPS/ORGANISATIONS. ALSO A VENUE FOR A VARIETY OF EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT BOTH FOR FUNDRAISING AND PRIVATE ACTIVITIES/OCCASIONS. CAPACITY FOR UPTO 200 WITH A LARGE STAGE, KITCHEN, SMALLER MEETING ROOM, PARKING AND OUTSIDE SPACE.

Fundraising through school and community based events

The principal activity of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils in the school. The association aims to develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and friends, engage in activities which support the school and provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school not provided from statutory funds.

Church Village Hall used for Church and Village Community Activities

To advance the education of the public in order that they are equipped to commence or return to work. This will support those with high needs, NEETS, young mothers and mental health and emotional issues. The subjects covered are Hairdressing, Equine and Small Animal Care, Land Based Studies and Maths & English. To relieve poverty by assisting with developing social, mental and physical skills.

Tuesday Club, Derby for the benefit of mentally disadvantage adults supported by volunteers. Weekly Tuesday social event and a number of outings each year to entertainment or for weekends to Back Dane.Back Dane. A one time hill farm in Staffordshire. Provision of accomodation for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, for groups supporting the welfare of disadvantaged adults, etc.

We provide a community space for various groups and clubs to hire and practice their own particular activity. We also provide a safe space for the community to come together and socialise in a a wide range of activities and events.

To organise a Music Festival in order to bring well-known distinguished artists to Bromsgrove for the enjoyment of all ages, and to include performances form local musical groups.

PROVISION OF A MEETING PLACE FOR OTHER ORGANISATIONS

The premises are for hire to acceptable groups on a commercial basis

EDUCATION

As Community First Responders we respond to emergency 999 calls in our local area and are directed by and support the services of West Midlands Ambulance Service. The Responders are volunteers who are trained to administer first aid in the vital few minutes before an ambulance arrives and are dedicated to the community they serve.

The provision and maintenance of the village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.

The charity arranges social, eductional and fund raising activities

Archives West Midlands is an independent, strategic partnership of archive services which aims to maximise the benefits of working together in terms of shared projects and funding opportunities. We aim to promote the importance of archives; support members to achieve accreditation and workforce development; explore a regional solution for digital preservation; develop a volunteer strategy.

SCOUT ACTIVITIES

To advance the Christian religion in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and elsewhere; to promote any charitable purpose within the area of benefit.

Ashley YFC is part of the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, a rural youth Organisation for anyone aged between 10 and 28 years of age. The Club meet regularly in and around the Ashley District and organise a varied programme of events including sports, training, talks, discos and balls to name just a few!

To raise money to give the children the extras that they would not get.
