Support the Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry in the High House, Stafford so that it may be a tribute to the men of Staffordshire who served in the war and an interesting social history for today's public. The Charity relies on donations and gifts to meet its objectives

Hold a variety of fundraising events during the year including a Xmas Fayre and/or Xmas Music Concerts and a monthly lottery.Provide refreshments at a number of College events including Parents' evenings and New Intake eveningsSponsor an annual award for a pupil involved in fundraising and community activity.Produce a termly newsletter for parents and contribute to the College website.

The Midland Geotechnical Society organises evening lectures in the Birmingham area, generally once a month between October and May. The lectures are on a geotechnical topic and promote continued education of students, practising engineers and retired members of the geotechnical community. Occasional afternoon seminars and site visits are arranged. We make several financial awards per year.

To make grants to individuals and organisations involved in education and training

Donations are made to groups within a one mile radius of Cannock town centre to enable them to purchase items they need.

SCHOOL PTFA ACTIVITIES

Trentham Brass Band provide music for the community and a musical education for the young brass players in and around Stoke on Trent. The band compete in the Midlands area contest each year and recently achieved 2nd place and went on to achieve 4th place nationally in 2022 . Trentham Brass have a wide and extensive repertoire of music, which is put to use in concerts at a variety of venues.

Cheadle Young Farmers is a rural youth organisation for anyone aged between 10 - 28 years. The objects of the Club shall be:-a) to advance the education of young members of the public at large in their knowledge of agriculture, crafts, life skills, rural affairs and country life,b) in the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide and promote the provision of facilities

Raise funds to purchase resources/enhance education provision at Waterhouses CE Primary Academy School

THE CHARITY'S PURPOSE IS TO HELP PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE BUILDING, FIXTURES AND FITTINGS OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF SAINT MARY AND ALL SAINTS, CHECKLEY, STOKE ON TRENT.

To advance the education of the public by the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Archive Service through a programme of visits, fund-raising, assistance with the purchase of collections and equipment by the service, and improving the accessibility of collections.

The association undertakes a number of activities with the aim of raising funds that are spent on: (a) providing social and/or educational activities for the school children (e.g. a school trip); (b) providing facilities for the school (e.g. a music system), or; (c) providing equipment for use by the school children (e.g. balls, bats, sports equipment).

MANAGE AND ARRANGE HIRE OF VILLAGE HALL

The object of the charity is to distribute the interest received on capital invested to non-profit making organisations and individuals in the local area.

Our trust deed states that we pay towards the upkeep etc of the school buildings.To this end we paid for the restoration of the school clock. Secondly, we promote the education of children who,or whose parents, are resident in the Parish of Colton, or who are in attendance at the said school.

This company raises funds to buy equipment and resources to improve the children's education, making their time at the school more enjoyable. Funds also go towards children's educational and fun trips throughout their school life.

The Woodlands Village Hall provides a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Marchington Woodlands and the adjascent villages and hamlets. The hall is available for public and private events. It provides, with the exception of the village church, the sole community facility in the Parish of Marchington Woodlands.

We provide support and information for local people to improve their horticultural skills.
