The Midland Geotechnical Society
The Midland Geotechnical Society organises evening lectures in the Birmingham area, generally once a month between October and May. The lectures are on a geotechnical topic and promote continued education of students, practising engineers and retired members of the geotechnical community. Occasional afternoon seminars and site visits are arranged. We make several financial awards per year.

Trentham Brass have a wide and extensive repertoire of music, which is put to use in concerts at a variety of venues.
