Various fundraising events are held throughout the year in order to raise much needed funds to provide equipment and resources for the children to enhance their overall learning.

Provides additional resources for Thursfield Primary School

Various fundraising activities for the local primary school. Encouragement of parents, teachers and children to participate in events. Funds used to provide activities or resource to children at the school to further their education and enjoyment.

Trentham Brass Band provide music for the community and a musical education for the young brass players in and around Stoke on Trent. The band compete in the Midlands area contest each year. Trentham Brass have a wide and extensive repertoire of music, which is put to use in concerts at a variety of venues.

Provides Building/space/facilities for local community

The Trust provides affordable holiday breaks to carers, particularly unpaid carers, in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who would find it difficult or impossible otherwise to afford a much-needed holiday. These holidays are in caravans owned by the Trust on serviced sites in North West England and Wales. At least one of the caravans owned by the Trust is adapted for people with disabilities.

MANAGE AND ARRANGE HIRE OF VILLAGE HALL

We are a first school PTA. We put on events such as Discos, Christmas Raffle and Summer Fair. The money we raise is put back into the school for the benefit of the children. In recent years we have supplied such things as a mile-a-day track and e-reading scheme.

Arrange rehearse and perform choral and orchestral concerts

Male Voice Choir - We give concerts throughout the year to raise funds and to donate to good causes and other charities. We also train singers to a good standard and work with other organisations to promote and teach music to people of all ages.

The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.The Society's season runs from October to April each year.
